Just One More Day

(Raini’s P.O.V.) I appreciated the fact that after each task was done the items were cleaned immediately after. One of my main things were to have a clean space and order. All I had left to do was my to pick out my dress, accessories, and bouquet, wanting to make sure we would not be interrupted and had time I sent Jake a text. ME: Hey, do you guys still finish training at nine? L.O.M.L: Yea why what’s up? Do you need me? ME: Oh, no. Your mom is here finalizing the last details for tomorrow and I all we have left are my things, just wanted to make sure you wouldn’t walk in and see me in my get up for tomorrow. B.T.W real smooth, you surprised me. L.O.M.L.: Man, I was hoping you wanted a repeat of last night, and no worries I will link mom and make sure you all are done before I come up. And just F.Y.I. you should have know by now that I know you like an open book remember I was a good mate and asked questions, so that my bride would have the perfect day and not have to worry about getting all this dine in a short amount of time. While to you it was just games between friends for me it was recon. “Ok, little one, lets get you sorted out, we have just shy of an hour.” Momma was saying as she pulled a rack full of white clothing bags out. What I didn’t notice was Aunt Ali standing over my shoulder, “Raini…What does L.O.M.L. stand for?” My poor face, I know in that moment I was fifty shades of red. Luckly for me I didn’t have to answer because Liv and Stormi beat me to it. “LOVE OF MY LIFE, Auntie Ali she has had Jakes name in her phone from the day she got it.” Aunt Ali looked at me as if to ask if it was true, all I did was shake my head agreeing with the two. “I have loved him from day one, nothing was ever going to change that, I just thank Selene that I am his mate it only sweetened the deal when I was told I would be the one chosen for the marriage for peace.” Momma and Auntie Ali fell silent and exchanged glances. Why did I have a feeling I was missing something. Putting it off for now I took the first garment bag and went into the closet with Stormi and Liv. The door wasn’t all the way pulled to so we heard the conversation outside. “ Alice, we need to tell her. Its not like she is going to be mad. I am proud to say she has always been level headed.” I looked to Stormi, she obviously had no clue, Liv was to busy taking out the pristine white dress out of its cover. “ Nancy, I am pretty sure she knows by now she was always fast at putting two and two together, she has to be aware that this was all Jakes way of getting what he wants, Ben wasn’t really anti mate as you know we just wanted to keep her safe. Your husband Deacon came up with the ‘Contract marriage, so Jake could have his mate without worries. And I for one am thankful he did. We needed that as a way to hide their original mate bond so if Jake being the Lycan prince comes to light her being the chosen mate won’t put her in danger.” Do my ears deceive me? They are all in on it? That is a little messed up. But it got me my dream man so I don’t care. Tossing my sister a look, she understood to just carry on as if hearing nothing. “Liv, you got that dress out?” Stormi asked? “Yes, but I know for a fact Raini isn’t choosing it so I was trying to put it back up.” She laughed. “No I will try it Momma and Aunt Ali wants me to try each one so I will.” The both helped me into the dress. It was pretty just not my stile, it was your custom ceremonial whit wedding dress, princess ballgown with a super long train. The sleeves were long but mesh the back cut out was mesh covering as well just with white pearls and rhinestones all down the skirt. I step out of the closet and burst out laughing with the looks of absolutely not that mom and the Luna were giving off. “Back to the closet I go.” I chuckled out. The next one went pretty much the same way it was still white but I did like the style it was a sweetheart neck line and a mermaid skirt. I didn’t like that it had no sleeves and basically my boobs were they only thing holding it up. “Better” the two older women said in unison. To which I replied, “I like the style, not the fact it has nothing to help hold it up, nor sleeves. Next!” The next dress was out and waiting as Stormi was ready for me to put it on, it was a princess gown with yet another sweet heart neck line, what was with these two wanting my boobs on display. However I did like this because it started of white for the corset and faded to a very deep black. “Ok, Auntie, momma, now we are getting somewhere.” I went and stood in front of them but they could tell I was still not 100 percent happy with this choice. “Dear go try on the las one ok?” my mother said to me. I did As I was told. Back in the closet I took the remaining dress off the rack and unzipped it. Tears flooded my eyes at the sight of it. Perfect it was perfect. Stormi and Liv, couldn’t help but aww every few minutes while they helped me get it on. Once done I held my head high and waled to stand in front of the two most important influences of my life. Seeing me in this dress they too burst into tears.
