(Jake's P.O.V.)
“Most everyone knows that Alphas rumors of being a Man-w***e are just
those rumors and nothing more.” I looked at Molly disapprovingly. I was secretly glad Molly desputed it instead of just setting there. Fom they way Raini was looking at her it would have been a problem. She should
not be so easily to release that information to others, but i guess i can atleast be glad it was said to the Luna.So i guess i can let it go. Raini was looking between the
two of us. A comical look on her face, once she relized Ms. Molly was being truthful. “My apologies Alpha but I will not allow OUR Luna to have to deal
with something so childish as rumors, plus she has a right to know you two will be wed soon and she does not need to have all those extra worries rolling about in her head.I will not have that nor will i
risk not having a good friendship with this lovely lady all because she thinks I was a
non-existing conquest.Besides it is only fair seeing how this is being thrown upon me i have the right to clear my good name." Raini giggled beside me.Good, i hope they do become freinds Ms. Molly is a good person, even with her only 10 yeard older than me she looked young and had a very vibrant personality. She would be a good fit to be at Raini's side. I am glad i had her tag along. I found it funny Raini didn't rember Molly from when we were younger. Jelousy clouds the mind, or so they say. I took the initiative to have Ms. Molly take her leave. “Ok Ms. Molly, please take the Lunas things to the front of the pack house so they can be loaded up.” “Yes sir.” She
bowed once again taking her leave once she had some bags. We sat in a
comfortable silence while eating. As two other omegas came in and grabbed
the remaining belongings i glanced around the room to make sure she had everything she would need. She obviously wouldnt take all of her things, but i wanted to make sure she had what she would need. After she finished eating Raini got up and told me, “I’m going to go say
goodbye to my family. Then we can head out. Might as well get this done so we can get on the road. Time is important seeing as we have limited time to plan a wedding. With out another word she tried
to walk to the door. Before she could get to far, I grabbed her arm stopping
her and pulled her back to me embracing her. I nuzzled her sweetly and then
kissed her as if it was our last. Once we couldn’t breathe, I let her go. "Get used to it love, each time i have the opertunity to kiss you until you burn for air, i am going to." She
looked at me dazed and backed out of her room. Her heat rising to her cheeks turning them a rosie shade of pink. I just blew her a kiss.
(Raini’s P.O.V.)
I can’t believe the way Jake has done a complete 180. All the sudden he is
kissing and nuzzeling me now. I couldn’t help but feel weird we have been friends for so long was it really possible to accept the mate bond? I hope he was changing his mind and decided to embrace it as well. I made my way to go say
goodbye to Momma, papa, and Stormi. I went straight up to the fourth floor to the last room on the left i knew
everyone would already be in there.We always ate breakfast together here. I knocked on the door even knowing they were waiting for me. “Come In.”
I heard papa say. Walking in to the room I seen I was right. “Momma, papa, I
came to say goodbye. I had breakfast with Jake this morning,he had went and got it and took it to the room. I know it is only two hours away, but I will still miss you, does that sound stupid?.” I asked with tears forming in my eyes. It wasn’t the fact that I was scared or nervous or
anything or that i was just traveling two hours away, it was just that I didn’t want to leave my home, my friends, or
my family. I was still so uncertain of where things were going to go with Jake. I would deal with that one day at a time I guess. I just had to belive his change in attitude twards me was not just for show, but becuse he really wanted to complete the bond with me, and love me the way I have always loved him. Better get this done now.
I hugged momma first, then papa, and said goodbye to each of them kissing them on the cheeks.I was hugging Stormy just as a
knock came on the door. “Enter” growled papa. I didn’t even need to look I
smelled sandlewood and knew instantly it was Jake. “Love, we need to get going.” He was hesitant in saying this.
“Jacob,” said my father using his name. “This is my baby, you will treat her
right, I am well aware it is not just a treaty wedding, but that you are her mate. We will be there for the wedding, and i will know if things are off with you and Raini”
Jake was going to say something but my dad put up a hand to stop him. “If I
so much as hear a whispering of a problem I will come for my daughter and
destroy this treaty. We both know it is Opal Moon who needs this not Obsedian.” Jake said nothing to my father in response, only shaking his head saying he understood. “Alpha Ski, I promise she
will be treated as a queen and be giving her rightful place by my side. With one last hug to my parents, Jake grabbed
me gently and steered me through the door. One last glance over my
shoulders for one more goodbye and I was off to my new pack.
