New and found

The next morning fast approaches, I can hear that Derek is already in the shower. We stayed up late just laid in bed together trying to gather our thoughts. I slowly drifted into sleep feeling Derek's arms secure me. Even after the day I have had I have never felt this safe before.

There was a lot to process and think about. How could I be half vampire? Is that why my parents gave me up?

I shake my head to take away the thoughts and let out a tired sigh, Derek walks in with a white towel wrapped around his waist. Water dripping from his torso. A little smirk appears on his lips not the devious kind the more gentle kind.

"How are you this morning?" He says while rummaging through his clothes. "I'm doing fine Derek, but if your not careful your towel is going to fall off."

He stands up straight and flashes his white pearls then proceeds to say " Oh Ellie if you want to see me without the towel you only need to ask."

Shocked I jump up of the bed "NO no that's not what I meant." I look down clearly flustered. But then he lets out a soft chuckle "Ellie I'm messing with you."

"Not today Derek." I say while getting back onto the bed. I curl up into a ball while grabbing the quilt to cuddle.

"Come on Ellie." I hear him say across the room. Oh gosh his voice though its enough to make most women fall to there knees. Snap out of it I hear myself say as I look up to Derek.

"Derek you baffle me?" He c***s an eyebrow at me in confusion. "What do you mean." he responds while he climbs into bed with me moving the quilt out of the way. He turns me around in one swift movement to face him. "Go on what do you mean?" "Derek your Emotions are all over the place your one mood then another its gets confusing. I don't know how you feel I can't read you." He puts his hand of my leg that sends shivers down my body. heat rises to my cheeks as I look him in the eyes.

"You need to understand Vampires emotions are heightened we learn to control them. Most people think vampires don't have emotions but we do just like everybody else." He didn't say much more on the matter. I give him a soft smile and place my hand on his that he still has on my leg. He smiles in response. "Come on why don't you come to the club with me get your mind of everything?"  "Seriously." I say while sitting back up on to the bed looking down at him and he devilishly grin. "Yeah I don't see why not just make sure I can see you at all times." "I don't need a babysitter Derek." "Not up for discussion Ellie." he says while getting out the bed.

I'm not going to argue It's been ages since I went out last, so I just let it go this time. He walks into the closest to get dressed while I'm trying to work out what day where on. I hope to see Jenny she must be so worried. Also to see barman just for a bit of normality.

"Are you going to get ready? I hear from the closet. I don't mind watching you get dressed a chuckle follows his words."

"Oh give over Derek." I shout over at him.

"I'll take that as a no then." As he walk back out into the bedroom. "Checking me out?" as he gives me a wink.

I just scoff while walking past him. I'm just happy that I get to go out.

I pick my clothes some leather look legging with plain vest top and a leather jacket not like me to wear this stuff my I haven't got much of a choice, they all seem to love leather and this wardrobe is full of it.
