Chapter Nine

Waking up with a migraine I hear shuffling, looking around I'm in a cave. Erm..uh do you remember who I am? I look to where the voice is coming from. Sam? he sighed and stepped forward. You Haven't been like this since Elizabeth's death.

What happened? I look around recognizing the cave, seeing I am chained. What seems like a circle. Do you remember Elizabeth is dead Maeve? he asked. Knowing he's serious by using one of my middle names. Yes I replied *sighing* ya know kinda looks like your going to sacrifice me. He begins to relax and begins to laugh as it bounces off the cave walls.

He doesn't un chain me and I can't really blame him.

Did you uh see him again? as his voice echo's through the cave.

Yeah the elf but this time it was different, I begin to shake my head. It was all mixed up, it was confusing.

I know when Elizabeth died I didn't have my original hair color. Just straight long dyed black hair with white ends. He sighs tell me all about it, don't leave anything out.

So I begin to tell him everything, every detail.

That is weird he begins to tap his right finger on his lips. Both of us deep in thought as I stare up at the caves ciling, that is glowing white lights.

Do you know who it was that was blaming you? and any chance who'd blame you for their mother's death? he asks.

No I don't to both questions I sigh ya know a lot of people blames me from their families death.

Even tho half was treason and most was due to war and defending not just myself, my people and my family.

So I take it, it was pretty bad as I shake the huge thick chains. I can feel the magic in it to hold me down and calming magic weaved into it. He looks at me worse actually, you kinda thrown my ass across the bedroom breaking Liza's perfumes, I winced she's going to murder me I muttered.

I went to stand in front of Harlow, to protect her just in case. Turned out to be the opposite, so to you harllow looked like Elizabeth. Yeah weird uh? yes Indeed very weird.

How long have I been down here and chained to the cave floor. As I nudged my chin at the chain across my chest.

About two weeks he says I nodded my head and laid it back down.

Could be worse ya know Jayson pipped in. Could've been half a month like the last time as he chuckles, and sam glares at his brother. What I'm just trying to lighten the mood as he shrugs and stuffs a blueberry muffin in his mouth. Making me glare at him in the process, I already heard everything and let mum and the others know.

Momma Guinevere went in to get more supplies, you kinda took everything they had. Sam glaring at him even more you know mum would be pissed that you told her sam says in amusement.

Uh so am I free to be let loose I'd like to retrack my wings and take a bath. Oh and that guy that pulled the arrow out of your chest, that actually happened. We kinda had to heal you his name is Elijah ring a bell? Jayson asked.

Not at the moment I replied, I hear someone running down the steps than through the cave. She comes into view out of breath, Harlow? I asked as I squinted my eyes.

My name actually isn't Harlow technically it is but its a nickname, a friend gave me. Always hated it she added Well what is your name than? as sam asked beating me to it.

Saugh she replied Ah Scottish for willow, than he looks confused.

How did your friend decide harlow? Jayson asked. She read it in a book and thought it was cute as she rolled her eyes. What do you prefer to be called? I asked.

Elowen is my middle name still don't know why my parents would name me after trees and flowers.

Waiting on an answer she begins to pace back in forth deep in thought. Giving her time I decided to stare at the ceiling already feeling my muscles being sore. Isidore she replied fifteen minutes later. Isidore? suits you I commented.

How much longer am I going to be here? Tied up like this? kinda sore and want a nice hot bath. Just now remembering what one of them said.

Elijah pulled an arrow out of my chest you said? like that wasn't a humiliation?

No it wasn't he snuck it to talk to you sam said, to talk to me? about what? about Isidore his sister you and him actually know each other. From that one place you and your old friend created forget what its called.

Realizing who he was finally talking about, he showed his demon form? well that's the first I mumbled. Sam chuckling well you'd probably hate what I have to say, he gave you his blood Jayson said.

WHAT! HE DID WHAT NOW!

yeah didn't think you'd be to happy about it, but you did need it. You actually scared us thinking that who ever shot you found something that can actually kill you. But turns out it only makes you go insane. Also the beginning of your dream or vision, you was fine just mumbling from what lily could here. But the door was locked Isidore was still in the bathroom at the time. Than lily heard you pacing back and forth asking what did I do? what happened?

I didn't do anything! than breaking of glass and well Elijah climb up the wall invisible.

And once he seen you like that, he freaked out and showed his true form.

And as soon as he seen the arrow, you was on your knees crying.

The shield didn't get activated due to the person not being on the property.

Meaning it was a magic weapon created by their hands, probably in the ashin land of the forest. We was thinking the same thing Jayson said.

Can you guys release her already? I hate seeing her like that, plus she's not talking in rambles nor screaming Isidore said.

We have to wait on momma Guinevere so try to be patient Isidore Jayson replied.

How can you guys just be calm and talk like she isn't tied up in chains?! she screamed in frustration.

All three of us raised are eye brows trying not to chuckle.

I said I'm used to this even from a young age, its kinda normal for me. Plus this is actually way better than the chains are tormenters would put us in.

I sighed hearing momma Guinevere loud foot steps she takes a deep breath, my poor dear child going through it all again I see.

She un chained me her and mum is the first people who could have their magic hold me down.

Their both strong witches and faes, I'm glad that their mates. Smiling and sitting up I thank her, and she hugs me. Well that's going to be a nasty scar.

Time to go home and get ya cleaned up.

Sam, Jayson your on babysitting duty, me sighing I so hate this. Than I hear both of them complaining.

Isidore walked up to me helping me up, and huging me. Me being surpsied she begins to say thank you. I asked what for? even more Confused. For saving my brothers life and making are eldest King Senko. After winning the war and letting him challenge his father. Remembering now and that Elijah is the leader of the muggles or thieves as others would call. I nodded my head and hugged her back. Anyways what time is it? and what day is it? they have to be joking about the two weeks right?

Its December the 13th and its 10:55pm

So I take it as a no in real world time. But a yes for this world. She chuckled and nodded her head.
