The mirror wasn't there before. Kade was sure of it. One minute he was walking down an alley warped by static-the next, a mirror stood in the center of the path. No frame. No wall behind it. Just standing there, impossible, like it had always existed. And it reflected everything-except him. Kade stepped closer. Still nothing. No face. No shadow.
