Addie’s POV Black covered the cemetery, people coming up hugging me and telling me how sorry they were for my loss. I was numb to all of it. Watching people come and go, the rain falling in slow motion, listening to words praising how wonderful of a woman she was, all of her accomplishments were well known, and everyone saying I was the best part of her life. It was all too much. Running through the rain away from the crowd of people, ducking behind a tree I sink to my knees and sob into my hands.
