Naira POV
I froze at the sound of his tone. What the hell had I done now?
He's insane… I swear he's insane.
I clenched my fists tightly and closed my eyes for a brief moment before the words escaped me without thinking. "Why are you doing this to me?!"
I slammed both hands against the table, then lifted my head to look at him, feeling like I was about to explode. "I'm not your slave! Stop treating me like this. I didn't choose for you to be my damned mate... and I hate this even more than you do!"
I didn't even know when he had moved. I had barely managed to catch my breath before I found my back pressed against the wall.
One of his hands came to rest beside my head while his black eyes burned with fury. "No... why are you doing this to me, damn it?!"
I was in pain, but I ignored it
