Aaron's eyes moved toward the inside of the car, and landed on a small pink child’s car seat. Slightly as she muttered,
“Pink?”
Dolphus’s hand rested on the door frame. “You came back unexpectedly, Aaron. That seat was meant for Lexa. You can sit in it for now. Tomorrow, we’ll get one in a color you like.”
Aaron had already guessed long before. That this was Dolphus’s car. He never needed to explain. He climbed in slowly, but when she saw how he had prepared for Lexa, he gave a stiff nod, showing no smile, but not refusing him.
