Bella's POV
I sat on the couch and couldn't help but think about how Matteo was so insistent on hiding our findings about Sebastian from Aurora. I get he's protecting her but it seemed different, like a different level of concern.
Thinking about this, my thoughts circle back to Anthony's confession. I hadn't stopped thinking about it since he said those words. "I just need you to know. You mean much more to me than you realize." He had said. But my past, my messy love life... It had left scars.
But then again…I've known Anthony for most of my life as my mother's adopted brother, making him somewhat my uncle (tho he says he's not as he refused to take on my mother's family name). How, when and at what point did he begin to feel this way about me?
