Chapter 20 December 1894 Confronting Authority Albert’s leaden footsteps echoed through the deserted halls of the Luitpold Gymnasium as he trudged to the direktor’s office. He was most definitely not looking forward to this meeting. He had little respect for the teachers who insisted he waste his time going over elementary rote information.
