Mark and Callie quickly made their way through the list of guests. Everyone introduced themselves and pointed out their family members without question, and often told jokes as they did. To Mark and Callie’s relief, most of the guests and many people from town were present and accounted for. Those not in the ballroom were listed as having dinner in their rooms. Easton and Dylan returned to tell them that everyone on their lists had been located and that the gym and pool were empty and secured.
“So, do we tell everyone to get comfortable and settle in for the night, or do we insist that they all stay dressed to the nines and miserable?” Callie asked.
