“That’s it for now, Maya! You are doing fantastic!” Jimmy exclaimed as he bent down and helped his niece remove her ski goggles. “Are you having fun?”
“Yeah! Can we do this tomorrow?” Maya asked with a giggle.
“We can do this whenever your mommy says you can,” Jimmy chuckled. “And you can even take your skis home and use them in Grandma and Grandpa’s yard. Does that sound like fun?”
“Yeah!” Maya said, jumping as much as she could with her skis still on her feet.
“Good. I’m going to have someone come and help us carry everything because we need to go inside and have lunch,” Jimmy said.
“OK,” Maya nodded, making her helmet flash between purple and pink as she moved.
Jimmy grinned at her as he called to one of his coworkers, “Hey, Tony! Have you got a minute?”
“Sure, man. What’s up?”
