Mark and Maya hurried to the ski shack where their gear was stashed. When they arrived, Tony was going into the building and held the door for them. Maya was all smiles as she dashed inside and began putting her boots on ahead of Mark.
“Someone is ready to go today,” Tony chuckled as he handed Mark his boots, sitting under a bench.
“Someone has been ready since last night,” Mark grinned as he put on his boots. “I was almost ready to bring her out at midnight. I don’t know what Jimmy gave her to eat or drink yesterday that had her so wound up, but he had better never do it again. If he does, I will be waking him up to deal with it.”
“I don’t know, but I know a lot of chocolate was involved and he kept letting her take sips from his cup,” Tony snickered.
