The snow had eased off as Mitch stood looking out the window at Claire’s home. She was going to work a little later than normal because of the weather, which Mitch did not object to. He continued to watch the snow outside until his cell phone rang. He went to the coffee table where it lay to see that it was Cole calling him. He picked up the phone and answered it.
“Hello?” Mitch answered the phone as he dropped onto the sofa.
“Hey, Mitch. Can you do us a huge favor?” Cole asked, sounding happy for some reason.
“I can try. What is it?” Mitch asked, confused and concerned by what the man wanted him to do.
