Finishing breakfast in our usual comforting rhythm led seamlessly to cleaning the sticky syrup completely off her face, dressing her beautifully in cute denim overalls paired with a striped t-shirt, and carefully packing her small bag with healthy snacks and her absolute favorite coloring books.
Walking peacefully to town officially started the day.
Being undeniably beautiful in the crisp morning, Seaview featured fresh air that smelled richly of sea salt and pine needles. Watching the restless ocean crash violently against the rocky cliffs directly below the main road to send up spectacular sprays of white mist proved it was an entire world away from the cold steel and harsh glass of New York City.
