Mistakes? As a human, we are all having at least a dozen of list to exchange. I can calculate how many of fictions that coloring themselves out by the tone of re-working the past. Everyone wishes for second chance, and the fantasy spins as a huge profit to talk about in a glance.
Meanwhile, the ghost has handed me the second hint for my journey. Alternating my mistakes for denying an attempt of murder, sounds too cliche for a plot of heaven in my objection. They might be trying to entertain me by playing a detective game before I have to ascend to the eternal life of death. On the other end, this might be the final test to overview my respond to many of the choice that I had.
One tiny bit of a miss and I’ll be set on fire forever.
That man has never said on two of those wild imagination of mine, so I guess it is still blurry.
Ah right, to the school it is.
(Vroom!Vroom!)
I have hitting the full marks of 100 in every subject this month. My mom was delighted on my achievement, she bought me a brand-new hot-rod car toys for the reward. Haha, I don’t want to spoil the fun for you, mom, but God has cheated on for this grand capacity of your kid in a way.
“C’mon, honey! Time to school!” She shrieked a bit. I followed her instructions by zipping the sarong tight to my waist,“Okay mom, all’s ready!”
The enjoyment of last night brawl still on her mind, maybe? The hollow ceiling has whispered me with intensity of the adult dimension. In my innocence look of the prior life, I’ll only accept the noise and doing my best to be asleep. But now? With this fully-developed mature-sized brain? I know something has happened. A wild ride, lasted one hour and might be counting as I go back to my bed’s warmth.

“So, you’re sitting here for a month, Yuda. You’re great!” Mrs. Angel told me. This is the system made for competition in our class. We have the row that called “tier”. The first one are for those crazy-ass and clever kid like me. Starting from the front, I am now the leader of my class.
Behind me, Nia Cassandra appeared upset. Haha, got ya and your throne, queen.
Just a short call to my first love, Henry winks at me and lurking from a gap off Nia’s spot. He is also one of my closest competitor in this game. Well, due to my distinct advantage, he won’t scratch a piece to my place.
On the next row, the leprechaun of our class, Kevin, attempting to snatch my attention by throwing a crumpled paper to my head. He acquired a seat on the second, laying down an 80 for math and some 70 on many subjects in the other,“Hoi, Yuda. Mind if we switch? I can’t see from back here.” He yells at me while smirking, hoping I would do something for his defeat.
“No way. Try getting 90 for science first, okay?” I answered it with a speck of laugh.
“I get that chair, Yuda. You’ll see.”
O-oh, he’s snapped out by a simple tease from me.
“....”
After going tit-for-tat against my man Kevin, I looked around for awhile. I have to find that man. Right, where’s that prince, by the way?
Haha, he’s failing to the fourth row. A win for me!
“.....”
I curled my eyebrows up several times to the unfortunate guy over there. Haha, he’s not catching my drift over here. He seems in a bad mood after the final test for the month.
After arranging the class into their destined place of seating, Mrs. Angel returns to the board,“Now, class, time for you to work with a partner! The one behind you or in front, now split up!” ordered her this time around. As the result of my hardwork, now I have my first love on the track.
(Krieek!!)
I dragged my chair to work together with her, the should-be captain of our class. She takes no notice of my presence. Rather than giving a simple greetings and trying to learn me better, she has chosen to open her flashy pencil case up and down for entertainment. The one she has is fairly regular to a rich kid, a box-type container with thousands of feature on its entire skin. From the back, when you pulled a small indent out down there, a built-in eraser is summoned all of sudden. On the top, if you click on the wing-like button of the two-sides, we’ll have racks with spaces enough to fill a whole crew of pencil upon it.
“So, open page 12 of your math book and do it together with your friend!” Our sole teacher continues her instruction with a pretend-to-be happy kind of expression. I sense a tone of stress from her wrinkle of her forehead. Might be depressing to do this all day, huh.
“....”
Oh, it’s about basic equation. What’s this? Hmmmm..... it must be expensive for Mrs. Johnny to spend money on 10 cakes here.
“Well, I have notes for this. Wanna share?” I offered her some help. I’m the winner here, mate, so you’ll have to be agree with me.
She closed her book as a response,“Nah, I can do this by myself.” She said with higher tone of voice. Oops, she is angry with me. Must be a perfectionist on rejecting an assistance from an alpha over here.
“If you say so, Nia. I’m okay, too.”
Over ten minutes on the clock, we are doing every tasks on the paper by ourselves. While she is cherry picking on which one to answer, I have them all ready to blow. I’ve cleared it in the 12th minute on the mark, very much earlier than everybody else on this planet.
Thanks, whoever powerful deity out there that bring me back in full. I’m putting everything to my bag at this point.
After seeing many others, Mrs. Angel approached us as the last needed person to taken care of. She tilted her head in amusement, but also concerned for our behavior and a small silent treatment to each other,“Have you two finished? Oh no, why are you both working on yourself, sweetheart?” She spoke with dimmed tone, showing how troublesome we are in front of her.
Of course she can’t display that before us. Not that we can understand on the issue right here as a toddler, is it?
“She don’t want to work with me, Miss.” I shot a strike on Nia before she can blurt anything against me,”I wanna help her with the work, but she is not answering me at all.”
(Sobs....sobs)
“But....But....Huaaaa!!”
Nia Cassandra is crying. Am I the bad guy here?
“I’m telling you the truth, Miss Angel.” I tried to bring her as my ally, ”I’m giving her my notes and...”
“Okay, Nia. Choose a friend to help you now. Have you finished yours, Yuda?”
“Yes, miss.”
“Okay, you have your free time. Good job, Yuda.” She praised me by a thumbs-up to my work while collecting my answer for the score,”But don’t do that again, okay?”
“Okay.” I set my head down to show my regret, while a single grin shapes my lips for the win.
---
I don’t know if it shatters my chance over her, or bring me closer to the trophy. For the record, I felt a surge of enjoyment down my spine as I could brave myself to overcome her defense. Surely speaking, Nia Cassandra is one of the toughest person to take down against in my life as a schooler. She ranks over the top of the national exam, grabbing many rewards as a participant for competitions, and nestled on the peak of the class’ most decorated student.
But I will dethrone her today for sure.
“Mom, I’m sitting on the top left in my class!!” I informed her of my feat. My mom, as usual, going on full beaming towards me and my phenomenal beginning. She hugs me real close and caressing my hair as a part of her compliment, and I put my hand on her shoulder to return her treat.
“Good job, my boy. We’ll eating Tongseng tonight!”
“Yippie!”
Tongseng is what we commonly called for a local-made beef stew. It consists of many protein-made ingredients and lots of spices for the enforcer of its savory taste. For the traditional one, my mother sometimes cooks it with pork rather than doing it by casual beef. Of course, it is because of the fat pigs has on its meat.
And it’s my favorite, obviously, out of all food in this universe and beyond.
And now, my homework. As of today, Mrs. Angel gave us so much of science to be done. All about the considerations of human’s anatomy in general. Oh, what is this? hmmm, got to check my notes.... Ah, it’s an eye. For the next...... Ah, what is this? okay, that’s the one I haven’t got up for a month straight despite the clamoring noise inside out. Both of his legs is too unspoiled, I have to draw some hair over the knee.... ta-da!! First grader’s work of the day.
Now to wrap things up, I have to write down the answer for the rest before having a meet-up ahead of the ghastly creature. I would say Holy, but He keeps scaring me out by appearing from nothingness. If the man informed me and made an appointment it would not be as terrifying as it gets.
“I will show up on your right.”
Huh? Someone speaks...
“Hua!!!”
“I made an appointment as you said.” Stated the man to me, showing no remorse on his unpredictable actions.
“But you don’t add for one in a blink of an eye, man!! What is it with you?”
His smiles going up as I vent my anger,”I am not here anytime for you, my child. I have the last hint for your travel to the second life of yours.”
“You have to marry the would-be-murderer to prevent her on killing you. That’s your task, Yuda.”
(Poof!)
He is leaving once more. Anyway, the jigsaw has been completed for me. To marry the one of my life means strategy to find out which one is available, and to be committed only to one of those would be a whole world of doubt to my end.
I have to be a stalker for this, huh?
