The Shattered Memories

(Bam!) “Argh!!” Hobart cried against my punch as he grovels on the ground. His partner-in-crime, Reino Gardna, was trying to laid a surprise on my back while I wasn’t looking. However, due to the muscle memories I had from the previous encounter, that tiny goblin can’t blame me for the counter-attack that follows. He then has to feel the hurt over his nose from my elbow. “Owww! You broke my snout!” He growled, covering the tip of his bursting-red nose as I put a shot all over it. Being the captain of the two villain, the orc hungrily leers over me. His drools flowing down, as if I am the prey of the two monster of the class. He quickly roars over me,“ You have to pay for this!!” Am I in debt? Well, let’s hand the payment back, if so. (Bam!) After bringing two fists to Reino’s gut for the sneaky move he wanted to make, I’m also shoveled a pair of others to Hobart’s face for ensuring the fate over him to pursuing me into battle. These two troublemakers has startled me first, but haven’t got a chance to gang-me up for the second. Thanks to the third time of living, I guess. My victory has ensured when the two of them leaning across the floor, felling down like a tree. It all goes greatly, until Tifanny screams. “Kyaa!” She breaks my mood completely. It seems like I’m the villain for this if you do that, dumbo. (Drap-drap-drap) For the comeback I have done, the one I rescued run to the exit, leaving me as the only one responsible for the brawl. --- The outcome of my win cost me a fortune. My mom has to call me to her office, swallowing her disappointment over my action. She’s the teacher who mainly deals with bullying issue, or as we have called her as “the detention master’ of the school. She is an adept in bringing bad teenagers into reality of life, for her to be sounded like the final boss of the dungeon.  On the other way around, this would be ruining my chance to be the most competent student of junior-high. Who knows of the outcome, anyway?  “Good luck, Yuda. You need it.” Henry cheers me up as I run into him shortly to the office. It appears anyone has learned of my fight against the two felon-wannabe, but most of them shared their sympathy as I walk by. “....” I’m not even close to her office, and I could feel a fearful sensation over my skin. Her terrifying aura has driven anyone to surrender on her cause. In contrast to her pleasant personality at home, she’s a different beast in color when it’s in school. Once, I caught her ‘disciplining’ a student two days before. It’s one of the top-ranked of being a lawbreaker, and he’s a ninth-grader. As a word of rumor, he’s actually the shadow leader of our school, a front-runner that overlaps our actual school president’s authority of the year. His name is Marco Diabolo, and you’ll find the name has a total similarity over his status. He even did the hair to be identical with the demon, being proud and using the tag for his own benefits. He consecutively seized homeworks from the ‘nerd’, blackmailing the freshman for their lunch-money, intentionally cheating in every exams, and so on. He has a list of punishable acts. If I could describe, He has almost everything a student could do to be called an ultimate “bad boy”. To add, he’s also handsome, the same to Steven Gunawan for being most lovable ones in our school. “What you gonna do, then, honey? To go to my nest?” Everyone heard the name, and they know what happened just hours before. The nest, for what my mom calls on the detention room she’s in control over, has a curtain to cover what’s inside. Nobody has live long enough to tell the tell, since the victim would be suffered immensely from the experience.  In other word, they have become so kind, it cleans bad thought of the 'nest' shortly after. The next that would come after the detention room is mom’s favorite, the speech. After an hour of full-lecture from my mom, anyone would be left in tears. Yes, she could dominate everyone, including Marco Diabolo of the shadow.  From what I had seen, He even begged to apologize, “No, no, I’ll be good! I promise!” and kneeling down to my mom for pleading of his actions. I can see her being witty by the slight exchange over the grin.  I don’t know what she would do over me, though. However, if I could predict, it’s most likely her newest invention to the test. (Krieek) I can see the shining helmet on the middle of the room. Darkness has returned when someone closed the door behind me. “Who’s there?” Nobody answered. I can’t tell of.... (Muffle) “Hmmph.....Hmmph.....” ---- I can see shadows. It’s my colleague, complimenting me for the accomplishment I’ve had for the dispute we used to battle against. I’m successfully defending our company towards the heavy protest from the long-list of small businesses across the country, making our milk business conquering all street the day onwards. A moment later, the clip has changed. This time, I’m under the pillow with a woman beside me. I can smell a hint of perfume all over her naked body as she curls herself on my chest, “Congratulations for the win, babe! I’m so proud of you.” My girlfriend kissed me to the lips. Her deep-yet-addicting tongue hits the top of my mouth, searching for mine to collide. Why it hurts, though? “Umph...umph....” “Ugh...st..st...” I can sense blood over my mouth as she eats the roof by force. “Argh....argh...” I can’t feel my jaw, either. What’s she doing? Stop, stop!! This is too much!! “S..ss..” (Splat!) ---- I have arrived to the dinner. It’s the reward for me of winning the contest. It’s vague to my mind of why I have become the first, however, since all I could think of is the food before me. The soup in the bowl has a thick brown color, probably soy sauce has been mixed inside. From the aroma, I could feel the beef under the broth, combined with cauliflower and some tomatoes for the taste. Definitely a tongseng for me. I slurped with my spoon. The broth is kind of spicy, a bit savory, but mostly bitter. I have to put another swoop for this food to learn of the issue. “Haa....haaa....” The chili is burning my mouth! I have to puke.... (Brakk!) I’m covered with the tongseng’s broth as someone suddenly spilled it out from the table. It tickles a bit, slightly hotter than usual... “Arghh! Arghh!” I can see my legs melted by the broth. It chews my chest, but I can’t speak of the hurtful sensation from the torture. Nobody helped me to get out from my trouble, as they tend to laugh over my idiocy. “Arghh!Arghh!” The tongseng broth eats away my arms. I’m now completely handicapped by the lava-burning fluid from the tongseng broth. The battered beef inside has somewhat turning to be more like a worm, chewing off the leftovers of my arms and seeping the dissolved remains of my legs. --- Third time in a row for this madness, I guess. For now, I’m in lucid. You know, the period where you can truly experience the interaction by nerves in your dreams. Yet the scene displays my horror. I’m trapped in the closed-restaurant of the scenery I was so familiar with. The stage for live music is dimmed of blue light, and it’s all empty. Most of the servers and restaurant’s staff has been home for about an hour. I can’t remember of why, but all I know is of the unknown call from somebody to meet. I’m alone, that’s for certain, yet a-shivering breath suddenly arrived to my ear. “For the mistake of your love, I’m decided to return for you, my dear.” (Bang!) It’s short, but painless. Other than many of the previous chapters of ‘death’, I can’t feel the burst of pistol as long-lasting as the melted-bones of mine. I have learned of something important, otherwise. --- “How is it, sweetheart? Everything’s in order?” She released me from the torture, finally. I can’t talk much from the tremble all over my body, as if it’s all reality to my sense. She is beaming towards me, might be feeling satisfied over the drills that I have to endure. “You want to do it again?” She asked me once more with her mischievous grin. My mother had displayed of how a tinker she is to build such a monstrosity, and she is willing to do it once more to her son. “How is it, Yuda? You want to do it again?” And.... Why? She transformed and becoming an old man of my fantasy, out of my expectation. It’s not finished, yet, and the string has locked down towards both of my wrist. “Your adventure in this world were dedicated to test you, Yuda. I’ve studied your life so much, and I’ve decided to put you into purgatory for reeling the truth out of you.” “What is it, old man?” I answered, even though my mind doesn’t process the reply as it should be. “For you to be sent for hell, or being eternal in heaven.” Two spears has been summoned across the left, and axes on the other. I don’t know why, but... (Jab) “Ugh....” It’s too much..... the tip is too sharp, this spear. (Jab) (s***h) “Argh!!” The axes were burst in flames when it sliced my arms. The wound heals almost instantly, but the pain is true... “Stop the pain, please! It’s enough!!” (Beep-beep) (Ka-ching) I’m all sweaty. Is it really over? “I can’t believe on what I’m seeing here, Yuda. Who’s that man?” She quickly sips me a drink,” I’m apologize. The training was supposed to lure out the bad from you, but what’s that before?” I can’t tell you, mother. Not now, or you’ll expose my hidden secret in a flash. “Huack!” Ugh, the green tea is totally bitter, but it somehow brings me to relax from the horrific playthrough. I have no strings attached all across my arms, that’s for sure. My mom hasn’t changed herself to be an old man still, but I can’t feel my legs from the fear I have felt. “You need to breath. I can’t even tell of who you are, back then. That’s the most gruesome videos I have ever watch from someone’s mind.” --- I can read the mysterious speech of the murderer in my mind, even with three days passed. She tells me of Nia Cassandra and her spells to France by the cold-welcome of the intro, but Amanda’s envy and pride could be hidden below the meaning of such word. The freezing-ice breath from her mouth might be drifted from the bashful side of Tifanny, for the answer to be told. Don’t forget of Devina’s lips, too. Ugh, what is the truth, then? “For the mistake of your love, I’m decided to return for you, my dear.” It’s rolling day-after-day. I got spooked by the repeated flows of the sentence. It’s so clear of the heavy-yet-bland tone from the voice that muttering the threat. I still can’t laid a correct one from such shallow replay, but I know of something so horrifying that I can’t ignore. He should have noticed it, as well, thanks to mom’s device.
