Chapter 2 The most important thing was that they couldn't be too early. Becky liked to be punctual and Rachel made them sit in the diner for an hour and half before she decided they could leave. At least they ate. Becky felt as if she could have more than one glass of whatever ridiculously expensive champagne that Miss Essie was going to serve. They were late, but it didn't matter that night. Already there were people spilling from the house. It was impossible for Becky to find a place to park. She had to park a couple of blocks away.
