I took a deep breath to calm my frayed nerves. What could possibly go wrong? They wouldn't be able to hit me like they did before. They could say mean things to me, and I can simply ignore them, and I doubt if Christian would dare touch me again. Better still, I could ignore their message. Curiosity was still getting the better part of me. I wondered what they badly wanted to tell me that they couldn't say it over the phone and demanded I come to their house.
