Magnuti: The Great Magician

A night on Magnuti's 21st birthday, their house was burned because his mother forget to blow off the kerosene lamp and it accidentally fell. Magnuti wake up in the middle of the night while half of their house was burnt already. His parents and sister we're calling for him outside their home.

In panicked, he immediately stood up and look a way out. Because their house were made of bamboo, he have no choice but to destroy the back part for him to be able to go out.

Magnuti was holding a little stick this time outside their house when his mother saw him safe. His little sister was crying of fear and worried on him. Magnuti emotionally look at their burning house, he wave the bamboo stick in anger and shouted, "CARAYO ORFAS" (blow off the fire). To everyone's surprise, the fire eventually vanish and left their house half burned.

Everything that happened was seen by Louko, their neighbor who lived not far from them.

Magnuti's parents and sister was shocked with what he had done.

"Oh! Brother. I laughed at you a lot of times and even called you crazy." Makoisa said in appreciation. Then she run into her brother. "Brother how did you do it? Teach me please." Makoisa said without minding that their home was half burned.

"Now who's crazy?" Magnuti replied.

"Uh oh! Uhm .. brother !!" Makoisa replied in a childish way.

"You two! We lost our home, then you're just ... Ugh .. Craziness !" Sarah frightfully said.

However, Magnuti's parents were afraid what it can brought to them one day and ordered him to stop doing magic. Since then, Magnuti pretended to stop practicing magic every time his family was around.

The rumors about what Magnuti have done had spread throughout the city. But later on, it was forgotten because he didn't admit it nor his family.

Yet Magnuti never stop practicing magic until he master's some with the help of his faith and enthusiasm. The normal wooden stick help him control things he wanted to moved together with his wit, energy and faith.

A few months later, Magnuti's family go back into their normal life.

Magnuti's family don't have any idea of what he's doing. He become even more powerful. Not only things followed his orders but he tried to hypnotized people too which he succeeded with. He abuses his powers and make everything he wanted without doubt. He became cunning.

Until one day, a little child named Moshra saw him making a stone fly in their backyard. In fear, the little child rush home and told his parents of what he saw.

Their city that time had a big problem with a thief which they can't caught. Most of the residence in the city experience something weird; out of their mind and don't know what their doing or what had happened.

Later, they would find out their golds or something precious to them were missing. And yes, it was Magnuti's witchcraft.

Now, another rumor about Magnuti spread out city wide. The citizens there got scared of him and to what disaster he may brought to them.

Magnuti get angry when he heard the gossip about him. Right away he search the master of the rumor. Magnuti found out that the child Moshra saw him one time doing witchcraft and from him the gossip spread out.

With anger he planned to punish the child and throw him away. He immediately implemented his plan that night. He get the child while his family was deeply sleeping. He brought him into the shore and with his wand he thrown the poor child into the sea. But a moment pass, he feel his conscience. He point his wand into the sea and murmur something. Yes, he wanted the child to survive in the middle of the sea. Then, he left the shore.

Moshra's parents was so worried about their child because they can't find him anywhere since they woke up. They search their backyard, asked their neighbors and go anywhere they thought they can find Moshra but they found nothing. They can't find any clue where the child was. The day passed, but no Moshra was found. Losing their one and only child makes Moshra's mother depressed and don't want to eat either.

On the third day, Moshra's parents was still searching for him, even their neighbors tried to help them too. Until one of their friend, Louko remembered Magnuti.

Moshra's parents was so desperate to find him at this moment. They wanted to go to Magnuti that time but their neighbors were afraid and just did calm them. They thought of the consequences. If Magnuti was really powerful, then they may get endanger.

And so they made up a plan. They call everyone in their city with the help of the City Leader and told them their plan. To catch Magnuti and interrogate him.

Unknown by everyone, Magnuti had a bird called Peknu and he ordered it to spy Moshra's parents right after he throw Moshra in the sea. Magnuti is ahead of their plans. He already leave their home that morning before the City Owner called her residents.

Magnuti's parents don't have any idea of what is happening because they are busy in their farm. Magnuti's parents and his sister was in their farm everyday. While they were in farm, Magnuti was alone in their house reading books and practicing magic. Yes, Magnuti is a lazy boy in terms of field work.

When Moshra's parents together with the city owner and some residents arrived to Magnuti's house, they found nothing. They immediately thought Magnuti and his family escaped from them. Their scruple to Magnuti aroused and they burned Magnuti's house.

It was noontime and Magnuti's family was going back home for lunch when they saw a smoke from their house, so they rush.

From a distance, they saw a lot of people in front of their house.

Moshra's father saw Magnuti's family which make him shouted, "the criminal's family was here, let's catch them."

And so, they catch Magnuti's parents and sister. They interrogate them and ask to tell what they know about Magnuti's witchcraft and the lost child Moshra. But this poor family of Magnuti knows nothing.

The City Residents thought they were just hiding Magnuti and so they put them in prison. They guarded the burned house of Magnuti's family so they may know if he come back.

Agreed by the City Owner, they decided to kill Magnuti's family if he don't comeback within the three days.
