The Third Challenge

"Then, tell me what it is." Moisheria said.

"You have to make me fall asleep without hurting me or using magic." Lady Phoenix seriously replied.

"Hahahaha." Moisheria laughed. "Are you joking? That is so easy." Moisheria said.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Lady Phoenix asked back and Moisheria keep silent.

"I have the Golden voice that can make anyone fall asleep. Now, I am curious if you can make me fall asleep too. I fall asleep just once every year. No matter how tired I am, I still can't feel sleepiness. Don't say that it is an easy challenge." Lady Phoenix explained.

"You only sleep once per year?" Moisheria asked and Lady Phoenix nodded.

"In this challenge, I want to have some rules." Moisheria said.

"Mhmm. What rules is that?" Lady Phoenix curiously asked.

"You have to do whatever I asked you to do. Like, you must fly and run around the whole day, dig with your own hand and others." Moisheria said.

"That is not fair. I will get tired if you asked me to do everything." Lady Phoenix replied.

"So, not hurting you and not using magic is fair?" Moisheria asked stupidly. "No no no no!" Moisheria answered her own question. "I don't have a magical voice like you. All I can do is to make you tired and bored. And you're telling me that it's not fair?" Moisheria asked.

"Fine. I will do whatever you asked me to do as long as it won't hurt myself." Lady Phoenix said.

"If you can't do what I told you, you lose. Deal?" Moisheria asked.

"You're already abusing my kindness. It's not fair." Lady Phoenix said.

"If that's the case, then this is very unfair on my side too. How can I have a little chance to win if you won't do some of my task?" Moisheria said.

"That is your problem." Lady Phoenix replied.

"You said that you don't feel sleepiness even you are so tired. Then, you don't want to do everything that I will be asking you to do." Moisheria cleared everything. "Then, you must let me use magic and hurt you if that's the case." Moisheria said.

"No!" Lady Phoenix replied.

"You have rules that I can't hurt you and use my magic. You must let me have two rules too." Moisheria insisted.

"Am I not the one who make the challenge here?" Lady Phoenix asked seriously. "If you can't make it, then you will be my slave forever." She added. "Hahaha!" The Lady laughed.

"You really don't want me to passed this challenge. Yet, I won't give up without trying." Moisheria said. "Give me three days." Moisheria said.

"Alright. You have three days to make me fall asleep." Lady Phoenix replied.

"I'm not allowed to hurt you and use magic. Except this two, I can do everything. Right?" Moisheria asked.

"Clear enough. You don't have to ask again and again. You can start now." Lady Phoenix replied.

"Please close your eyes and let me cover it with some cloth." Moisheria said.

"Alright." Lady Phoenix said and she immediately close her eyes.

Moisheria cover the eyes of Lady Phoenix hoping that if she could only see darkness, she will feel sleepy.

"You have a very sharp eyes that can see everything. You have a lot of things to be seen everyday and everynight. Things you have seen made you enjoy and don't feel sleepiness. Now, see the emptiness and feel boredom. Let's see if you won't fall asleep." Moisheria said.

A few hours later but lady Phoenix is still awake. So, Moisheria speak again.

"Imagine things that can make you happy and let it drown you deeply. Let your desires and dreams drives you into sleepiness." Moisheria said softly hoping that it will work and make the lady fall asleep.

Lady Phoenix do what Moisheria told her but instead of falling asleep, she only laughed and laughed.

"Hahahaha." Lady Phoenix laugh and Moisheria just shake her head.

"If only I know that imagination is so fun, I will do it everyday." Lady Phoenix said. "Hahahaha." She laugh again.

"What are you thinking right now?" Moisheria curiously asked.

"I really dreamed to be a beautiful Queen. A lot of boys are coming to my Palace to give me their presents everyday. Their praises are tickling me. Hahahaha." Lady Phoenix explained while giggling and laughing.

"Tssss. Stop it." Moisheria said.

"Hahaha. Why? It's so funny." Lady Phoenix said while laughing.

"If you desired to be a queen, why are you still staying in this mountain?" Moisheria curiously asked.

Then, Lady Phoenix stop laughing.

"I am cursed to stay here forever. I have to take care of this mountain and let no one harm it. Besides, i will only kill a lot of people if I go out." Lady Phoenix sadly replied.

"Why would you kill anyone?" Moisheria asked.

"My singing voice means killing." Lady Phoenix replied.

"Basic, don't sing." Moisheria said.

"Silly girl. I will die if I don't sing." Lady Phoenix replied.

"Why?" Moisheria asked.

"It's a cursed. I feel very weak and dying when I don't sing for a long time." Lady Phoenix explained.

"It's so sad." Moisheria said. "But I have to pass this challenge and finish my task." Moisheria said.

"You only have three days." Lady Phoenix said.

"Let me change the cover of your eyes. It's wet now." Moisheria said and she remove the cover of Lady Phoenix's eyes. Then, she get another clean and dry cloth to cover the eyes of Lady Phoenix.

Moisheria hope that she can make lady Phoenix fall asleep when she sing a song like a mother do to their baby.

"Lay down in my thigh." Moisheria told Lady Phoenix and she help her lie down.

Moisheria rub the hair of Lady Phoenix gently and started to sing.

Moisheria sang her life to Lady Phoenix.

Lady Phoenix was amazed by the girl and feel her emotions. Yet, it doesn't make her fall asleep but even more stronger. She feel the power of Moisheria's voice, it can tame anyone.

Later on, Moisheria thought another way to make the lady fall asleep.

"Wait for me here. I will comeback soon." Moisheria said to Lady Phoenix.

"Where are you going?" Lady Phoenix asked.

"I just need to get something." Moisheria replied.

"You may go." Lady Phoenix replied and Moisheria left her with a covered eyes.

"I have to passed this challenge but I can't use magic. Then, I will make a sleeping pill for you to sleep." Moisheria said in her mind. "Let us see if you can get away from falling asleep this time." Moisheria murmured while walking.

Hours passed and it's already getting dark. Moisheria have done gathering the herbs and plants that she will be going to use to make the sleeping pill. The girl immediately go back to where she left lady Phoenix lately.

"You go away for too long. Where have you've been?" Lady Phoenix asked when she sensed Moisheria's smell.

"Secret!" Moisheria replied. "Just sleep now, it's already dark." She added.

"Hahahaha!" Lady Phoenix laughed. "Silly girl, I already have a very dark whole day. No, no, no to sleep." She said.

The Night passed and Moisheria already made the sleeping pill.

"Eat this." Moisheria said while giving the sleeping pill to Lady Phoenix.

"What is that?" Lady Phoenix asked.

"Don't worry. It is not a poison." Moisheria replied. "Just open your mouth." She added and Lady Phoenix opened her mouth.

Moisheria put the sleeping pill into Lady Phoenix's mouth. Then, Lady Phoenix swallowed it.

A few seconds later, Lady Phoenix slowly fell on the ground. She had fallen asleep because of the sleeping pill. "Luckily, I have read the book of how to make herbal medicines and pills in the library of Magical Academy." Moisheria said and she smiled.

Slowly, Lady Phoenix change into a beautiful sleeping bird.

Moisheria search for something different in the wings of the Phoenix. Later on, she found a piece of bracelet stuck on the skin of the Phoenix. The piece of the bracelet seems to be the part of what king Felix gave go her.

Moisheria immediately pulled the piece of bracelet from the right wing of the Phoenix. Then, she healed the wound of the Phoenix.

Moisheria get the piece of bracelet that King Felix gave to her. She tried to compare the two and it's really the same. Though, one more piece is missing.

"Maybe this is really the pieces of a Magical bracelet. Maybe Queen Defil give me the task with the intention to collect the pieces of the bracelet. But, what is the power of the Magical bracelet? Will the bracelet be able to fix again if I gather all the pieces?" Moisheria asked.
