Killing A Monster

[PRESENT]

As the lover landed, Orfeila sensed that someone is looking at them so she took her magic wand. Gourno is in front of her smiling and seems so amazed of the surrounding.

In the other hand, Moshra jump from the tree toward Gourno and caught him.

Even Orfeila is ready of any attack she still missed to save his lover from the monster's hand because it is so quick. "Get your hands off from him and I'll spare your life", Orfeila bravely said.

Moshra didn't understand her and was about to run away with his prey but Orfeila strikes a strong light from her wand toward the monster's leg. Being hit made Moshra angry and he dumped Gourno in his left side.

Gourno's head was bumped in a trunk of a lofty tree which causes him to almost lose consciousness.

Moshra walks toward Orfeila with anger and desire to eat her.

With a little fear Orfeila strikes her wand to the monster but it seems like her strikes isn't strong enough to defeat him. She keeps on moving backward in fear.

While Gourno in the other side had woken up. He's one leg had sprain and his body aches so can't even stood up because the monster dumped him strongly. He wanted to help Orfeila but he can't reach his wand that fell a little far from him.

Orfeila is stepping backward while Moshra looks so scary, moving forward to catch her. "Stay there, stay." Orfeila shouts but Moshra didn't mind it.

Just a few seconds past, Moshra is now able to reach Orfeila.

Then, Moshra throw his punch on Orfeila's face which make her fell in the ground. Her nose bleeds and she could barely see now because of the strong impact of Moshra's punch.

"Gourno, gourn.. gou.." Orfeila murmur Gourno's name then she fell unconscious.

Moshra is about to hit Orfeila with his fist again when a big stone strikes into his head making him fall. It was Gourno, he have his wand already. Gourno sighed in relief. "If I'm a second late then I may have lost you my love." He said while touching Orfeila's face.

Through Gourno's magic wand, he made the stone move and strike it to the monster. He wanted to assure that the monster could never hurt one of them again, so he strikes him a lot of stone again and again. The monster screamed because of the pain, as another stone is about to fall on him, he shouted , " MOISHERIA", the stone fell onto him. Then, the monster made his last breath.

With the help of Gourno's magic wand, he healed his wounds and scratches as well as Orfeila's. But Orfeila was still out of her consciousness.

Gourno took their brooms. He get Orfeila's wand and was about to carry her when he senses someone is running . Immediately, he took Orfeila and fly with his broom up into the tree. He's holding unconscious Orfeila with his right hand while his left hand holds the Paluka. He left Orfeila's broomstick on the ground.

Sneaking behind the branches of the tree, Gourno saw a Jaguar running toward the monster. At first, Gourno thought that it will eat the monster but instead, it just touches the monster as if a mother cat is waking up her kitten.

It is Mau, the Jaguar who is a friend of Moshra. Seconds pass by while the monster is still unconscious then Mau panicked. Later on, Mau scream and cried knowing and assured that her friend was dead. Up there, riding in a broom Gourno watch the monster and the Jaguar questionably.

Gourno was tired, he don't have sleep, travelled the whole night and then fought with a monster. So, he decided to take Orfeila into a safer place. He flies to get far from the dead monster and the jaguar. He secured that there is no harm in the place before he landed. He put down Orfeila, he sat under the tree and let Orfeila lay down on his arms. In a few minutes, he fell asleep.

Gourno wakes up late afternoon that day. He's very starving that even his stomach sounded. He sit up immediately while panicking when he realizes Orfeila was not on his side anymore. He get his wand and stand up. He is about to step forward and look for Orfeila when a voice behind calmed him.

"I get some fruits for you to eat, I know your so hungry now", Orfeila said.

"I'm worried about you, I thought something wrong happened", Gourno said and sighed with relief.

"I'm sorry to make you worry. I'm here now, there's nothing to worry anymore my love. Let's eat together, I know you're starving." Orfeila answered..

Then they eat. After eating Orfeila asked Gourno of the things that happened while she's unconscious that morning. Gourno told her everything.

"I'm so starving when I woke up lately. I decided to go and find something to eat when I saw my wand on your waist. I get it before I go", Orfeila told her lover.

"It's okay, that was yours. Besides it can help you when your away from me", Gourno was pointing out Orfeila's wand.

Orfeila smiled and asked Gourno if where is her Paluka.

"Your broomstick? I'm sorry my love, I left it under that tree where we fought the monster", Gourno answered.

Orfeila said, "It's okay, but what to do now? If we travel, we only have 1 Paluka."

Gourno told Orfeila that it's not a problem. She can ride together with Gourno's broom because it can carry two persons. If Orfeila wants to go back and get her broom, then he surely will do. Orfeila was afraid that they may encounter another monster, so she decided not go back for her owned Paluka.

Witches have a lot of Palukas they used to ride with when they want to fly. Though, each of them have their owned broom they used most of the time. The one they use to practice with since young. Some of them used to love their owned Paluka and really cared about it. For Orfeila? She only cares and love Gourno that no matter how precious a Paluka was, it is useless without his man.
