LOCATION: EARTH, NORTH AMERICA, SOUTH CAROLINA, CHESTERFIELD, PATRICK, 159, STAR STREAK AVENUE DATE: 26TH OF FEBRURARY, 2024 “Well, you can’t declare someone missing till after 24hours;” officer Stanton insisted. He was stout and middle-aged. And the one in charge at the police Academy, star streak division. On his desk were stacks of office files, statement forms and a half-empty box of old Mac ’doughnuts. “Yes. I know that. But they are children for God’s sake.” “Yes, I understand your point, Dr. Ambrose” the police officer said; “But they probably would have gone for a stroll.” He picked up his phone from inside his drawer and showed Dr. Jack Ambrose the time. “Just seven-thirty pm” “And that’s two hours from when I got home;” Mrs. Juliet Ambrose replied. She had been silent beforehand and sat on a chair meters from where two men were discussing. “I got home and saw the door ajar. In Judd’s room, there was a hole in the wall and my diamond was shattered. The room was scattered;” she explained “So what are you proposing?” officer Stanton grunted, clasping his two hands together under his chin and placing his elbows on the table. “They could have been kidn*pped;” Dr Jack replied. “And what makes you think so?” “They are grounded, so they have no right to move about. The school bus dropped them right at the doorstep, so they came back from school. That is certain. “Wait, wait, wait.” Officer Stanton interrupted; “why are they grounded?” “Because Judd exchanged his medical courses for college for aerospace courses.” Officer Stanton shrugged “what’s bad there?” “Well, I want him to be a medical doctor.” The police officer shook his head. “Well, that is wrong. Very wrong. He ought to have the liberty to pick his career as long as it is something noble, or worthwhile;” he told him; “according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, every individual is entitled to freedom of thought, conscience, association and religion.” “And that’s why his sister got grounded.” Or. Ambrose cut in. Officer Stanton got up from his chair. “I’ll look into the case right now. But for all I care, this boy Judd or what’s his name? Might have ran off to NASA.” Somebody knocked on the door of the office. “Come in” A young police officer in his mid-twenties and crisply ironed dark blue uniform stepped in. He saluted before speaking. “Verified news state that a meteorite crashed into Fairy Diary warehouse in Hitchcock, but the meteorite is nowhere to be found and an amulet was found there.”
