Chapter 11 Stranger things

LOCATION: EARTH, NORTH AMERICA, SOUTH CAROLINA, CHESTERFIELD, PATRICK, FAIRY DIARY WAREHOUSE, 27, HITCHCOCK GOSE.

DATE: 26TH OF FEBRURARY; 2024

Sirens tore through the air to the point it was almost deafening. Police cars with emboldened logos of the SSDPA cluttered around the warehouse, flashlights roamed the whole area.

A group of crime scene investigators and forensics personnel surrounded the area where the meteorite had fallen.

A police officer towards the trio that stood beside a police car.

“This is it, sir” he handed the sealed transparent bag to Officer Stanton, who passed it to Dr Jack Ambrose.

Dr Jack examined the packages. “It’s my mother’s amulet.”

“She probably gave it to jane” Mrs. Juliet added

Minutes later, around 8:45pm, a forensics personnel come over to discuss with Officer Stanton.

“Strange case here, Officer Stanton;” the thick-set man in overalls said.

“What’s the mystery?” he chuckled in reply, although there wasn’t much to laugh about.

“We’ve discovered two sets of footprints actually they are shoe soles. One is a pair of sneakers while the smaller ones are shell shoes.”

“So where do the shoe prints lead to?”

“That’s it! They don’t lead anywhere. They just stop at the place where the meteorite is supposed to be.

Stranger things: the meteorite isn’t anywhere in the region. We haven’t heard about a reversed meteorite but we might finally have a broken record. These kids are not on earth anymore.”
