Winter's POV
The last thing I was expecting when I stepped into the room was being conferred a title to by the alpha. Everyone was shocked, not excluding me as well. Father burst into tears and Mel looked like she would strangle me to death and Damien? His emotions alternate through anger, disbelief and shock. I had no idea such a thing was coming. I tried to get it across to Damien that I had nothing to do with it but he severed the link between us, leaving me speaking to just myself.
Things took a funnier turn when the Alpha also announced the commencement of some traditional hunting season which I had to participate in and the prize was that I'd receive anything I asked for. This was tempting and I wanted to reject the offer but I knew I couldn't. It was my one chance to do right by D
