Once I caught my breath from laughing so hard, my stomach started to growl. "Why don't we get out of the apartment and go eat some dinner."
"Can we have burgers and fries?" Kenzley asked very excitedly.
"We sure can. Then maybe we can go to a park or something," I said, and didn't even think about it. She had been cooped up in the house for several days and I knew that I would be losing my s**t if it were me.
"YES!" she said, jumping up and running towards the stairs.
"I guess I will go change as well," Lyla said, and Ian was laying there staring at us. It was all either of us could do to not laugh.
