Lyla's POV
Conrad and Avery picked me up at the airport and both of them hugged me before Conrad grabbed my bag and loaded it into their SUV. It felt weird to be here without Kenzley, but I was looking forward to having just a break and a little adult time. That is something that I've never really gotten.
"Everrette wants us to meet him and Heidi for lunch."
"Sounds good. I need to get started on helping them get this started."
"I'm so glad that you were able to come. We need to plan a bachelorette party for Heidi. Since she is pregnant, I'm thinking maybe a spa day and then a fancy dinner, and maybe we could end the night at one of our houses for a girls' night," Avery said.
