Two hours later, Ransford was at the door of Mirabel's appointment. She cried as he hugged her tightly and assured her, he would find out what the problem is.
When Mirabel had left for home during the weekend, Ransford went to visit Naomi in school because she too has changed her attitude towards him. When he got there, he realized Mirabel wasn't around so he knocked on Naomi's door and opened it immediately.
"what"!! was all that he said, he closed the door and went away. In the evening he called Sammy to meet him, when they got there Ransford asked him the reason behind his actions. He continued that, if he loved Naomi, he could've told both of them ( Him and Mirabel).
He asked Sammy to apologize so that, Mirabel would forgive him. Sammy later confirmed he had fallen for Naomi long time ago and won't go back for Mirabel again.
"What a betrayal"! Ransford said as Sammy walked away. Two weeks later, Ransford told Mirabel everything. She cried and cried until there was no tears in her eyes, but all these while Ransford was with her and told her everything happens for a reason. He promised to be there for her all the time and would do anything to make her happy.
After they had finished their exams and Mirabel was in the house, Sammy called in there.
"Good day Mira",he greeted as he entered the room. He was offered a seat and said, " I've come to visit you for it's been a long time we saw each other". She sat quietly as she listened to him and replied " I too have missed you a lot", at the end of their conversation, Sammy told Mirabel to move on because, he had a new lover. She stared at him while he spoke;
" Mira, I'm sorry for telling you but the truth is,I have found a lady that my heart tells me she's the one I've been looking for. And so I've come to let you understand, so you too will move on with your life and not to wait for me ".
When he finished, Mirabel was bewildered. She asked him if she had wrong him in any way but Sammy told her, he has no interest in her again and walked out of the house.
