Chapter 1

The music relaxed every part of her body; she felt alive, she felt free, and above all, she felt desired. Kelsea moved her hips to the rhythm of the music while all the men's eyes were on her. Her black dress would ride up each time she moved, and her hands would roam her body sensually. Kelsea had everyone captivated, but she only cared about the man in front of her, who had been watching her dance for a while. He was a tall, handsome man with muscles that made her skin crawl at the mere thought of having him in her bed. "Oh my god, I should get these thoughts out of my mind!" She denied it with a smile as she turned her back to the man, showing off her rear. She didn't know whether the music was so electrifying that it made her do crazy things or if it was the bottles of vodka she had drunk, but she felt so daring that she was afraid of doing something foolish. But at this point, Kelsea had lost her reason, and excitement had won the battle. After giving the man a splendid view of her moving behind, she turned her face back to look at him. The man's gaze remained unwaveringly focused on her. His black, cold eyes stripped her of her clothes and made her a woman just by looking at her. Kelsea was certain that he would never have noticed her if not for the costume party; however, she did not understand how he could have noticed her given his perfection. A burn from her childhood marred her face, making her unattractive to men. She was nervous, just thinking that the man would get up from his seat and remove his mask. Imagining that sent chills down her spine. However, she was there, wearing a mask and a tiny dress, dancing in front of a stranger, shameless and with reason, for the breakfast meeting the next day. Her parents had told her that the next morning, a man would come to their house and choose one of their daughters as his wife. Kelsea was sure that the man would not choose her because of her burned face, which made her look like a monster, but she didn't want to trust and lose her virginity to an imposed man. That night, she was determined to lose it with the man she wanted. She licked her lips and walked over to the man holding a glass of whiskey to his lips, eagerly. He looked tense, and his eyes shone through the mask. Kelsea smiled as she approached him, feeling as small as a mouse in front of him. He had stood up to greet her as if he had been waiting for her for a long time, making her so stiff that she considered turning around and giving up on this absurd idea. "I better go," she said, turning her body to leave, but thick hands stopped her abruptly. The man's thick fingers gripped Kelsea's arm tightly, his perfume infiltrated her nostrils, causing her to tremble, and his touch sent her heart racing. "Where are you going? Don't tell me that you're going to leave me in this condition after teasing me all night," he whispered into her ear. Kelsea squirmed as she felt the man's rough and deep voice behind her. "I thought you didn't like the way I dance," she said, turning. Bringing her face closer to the man. She could feel his breath on her cheeks, his thick lips so close that Kelsea bit her lower lip to resist kissing them, and his eyes—those black eyes behind that mask—were killing her. "I mean, since you never came to me, I had to come to you," she said, smiling. Carter looked at the girl, smirking. She wore a mask that obscured her entire face, revealing only her eyes, but her beauty was undeniable. Her light brown hair fell past her hips, her long legs were as white as milk, and her green eyes like mountains tempted him to sin. "Baby," he scoffed. "I knew you would come to me," he said arrogantly. Carter was not a man without women in his bed. In fact, he had never been interested in a stranger until that moment. There was something about the girl that had him hooked in a way he never thought a woman could. Kelsea rolled her eyes, annoyed. She tried to leave because of the man's arrogant words, but his hands held her firmly. "Don't you want to go to the VIP area of my club?" he said in her ear. Heyes widened in surprise; she never imagined that he would be the owner of that club. She and her family frequented the place; she knew that the owner was one of the richest men in the city, but not that he was there because everyone knew that he was a foreigner. "I-" She stammered, trying to refuse, because now that she knew who he was, she didn't want to have problems with her father later on. "Make sure no one bothers us," ordered the man to one of his bodyguards, which made Kelsea swallow hard and take the hand of the man reaching out to her. Together, they climbed the stairs until they reached a room with a huge bed, where she was sure she would lose her virginity. "Would you like some?" asked the man with that intimidating look. "What is it?" asked Kelsea incredulously as she saw the contents in the pink glass. "It's called an orgasm; it's the first one you'll have tonight," the man responded arrogantly. Kelsea felt her panties begin to soak. The man had this power of sexuality that drove her crazy. She took the glass in her hands and drank its contents in one gulp. ... When Kelsea Anderson opened her eyes, her whole body ached. She touched her head, which throbbed with force, and looked around, scared. 'Where am I?' she asked herself worriedly. Then she smiled as she remembered. She had had the best night of her life; she could remember everything as if it were a movie. She sighed like a love-stricken girl and looked at her wrist. She still remembered the words of the unknown man after he made love to her. 'Never take it off.' he told her, giving her a bracelet that shone brightly. She kissed the bracelet, feeling truly in love, and after realizing that she was alone, she took off her mask. The man had asked her to take it off the night before after he showed his face, but Kelsea pleaded with him not to, and he promised he wouldn't. She stood up in fear when she realized the time. "My mom is going to kill me!" she exclaimed, trying to dress quickly. After getting ready, she ran to the club's parking lot to get home quickly without anyone noticing that she had escaped the night before because today she would meet the foolish businessman who would ruin her life forever. "I hope my prince from last night will rescue me and won't let me be chosen as a wife," she thought.
