The three of them were exhausted, but as usual he woke up early. This bed was smaller than the one upstairs, but with the three of them wrapped tightly around each other it didn't matter. He lifted Angel's arm and tried slipping out from the tangle of Zachery's legs.
"I don't think so, Monroe."
He turned to see Zachery looking at him and he sighed, "I am in need of food, a long shower, and possibly a nap later on. Do you have other plans?"
It would not take much to convince him to stay in bed all day.
"Angel and I have been patient, but now we need an explanation. Did Edward Labough lie to me?"
Monroe looked from Zachery to Angel and noticed her eyes open, too.
