Chapter 5

The two short men frozen in the place did not dare to go further like being caught red-handed. 

They turn around and put on an awkward smile to greet Joss.

The two of them stood in front of which not far from me while Joss was behind me and that random man stood before me.

I am still analyzing what really happened? Why did Joss and that two men know each other ?! And who is this random guy that I hit with a bottle?. Besides, I don't think he is a good guy either judged by his behavior earlier.

Wait?.

I just came to take my suit why did I drag myself into their problem? am I that free?.

Then I heard Joss speaks again.

'' What are you both doing here ? ''.

'' This is a bar, of course, we came to drink ''. His friend answered Joss. He moved his gaze on the drunk boy who is standing next to him and asked " Right Wil? ".

They are like hiding something.

I can see that the drunk boy looking at his friend confusedly.

But he nodded and say '' Yes ''

'' Really, then why are you with San ? ''. Joss throws another question.

'' f**k ! '' just then that random guy shouting angrily.

Oh right, I almost forgot about the man in front of me. I pulled back my gaze and placed it on that random man. His head began to bleed.

He realized it that random man looked trembling when he touched his head and shouted again 

'' f**k I'm bleeding ''.

His eyes filled with hatred staring at that drunk boy

 '' What is this? now you ask your friend to help you? ''

'' I didn't '' that drunk boy innocently shook his head. His eyes are still red.

'' f**k '' the dirty word came out of his mouth again.

He must really have forgotten that I'm still here isn't he? , how dare he curse in front of me. I really don't like people to do that.

He held his fist and wanted to run in the direction where the drunk boy at.

Joss at the same time saw his actions Immediately run to the front of the drunk boy's friend and use his body to cover him.

Ok, I admit it's sweet Joss.

But before he was successful I pulled him back by his collar shirt

and using my hand to pressed his mouth tightly '

' Ssshh, I don't like people curse in front of me ''. I said to him.

I can feel all customer's eyes in the bar are on us and some of them even take our videos and photos but I don't care.

Seeing his frightened face and began to turn red I released him.

Then I took money from my wallet gave it to him and said

 '' Let's just say this is money to treat wounds in your head '' I patted his shoulder fixes his collar and brings my mouth near to his ear added

 '' You must know that the police will not be able to do anything, so be smart ''. 

I smirked at him and walked away

But I stopped after a few steps I still have something that I hadn't said yet

 '' But you can try it if you dare '' and then code my two bodyguards to bring him out of this bar.

After handling their problem the four of us ended up sitting at an empty table at the bar. That two little men sit opposite me and Joss.

In fact, the two of them want to take the opportunity to go from there when they thought me and Joss didn't realize it but sadly we do.

'' What do you guys want to drink ? ''. One of the bar waiters came to us.

'' Eh, I want .. ''. His friend just raised his hand to order the drink he liked.

But unfortunately, the person beside me interrupted him

'' Give him orange juice ''.

His friend looks unhappy even the drunk boy laughed at his friend seeing him wasn't free to order drinks he wanted.

Ugh, he has a beautiful smile.

'' Then,I want .. ''. Now it's the drunk boy turn to order drinks, he seemed still thinks what drinks he should order when he about opens his mouth

And I cut him off

'' Give him orange juice as well ''

Has he forgotten about last night's incident? Don't know which sister of him comes out later.

The three of them stared at me curiously but I totally ignored them and continued ordering with the waiters.

When I finished ordering and found their eyes still on me I felt a bit uncomfortable so I spit out one word

 '' What ? ''.

Joss grinned at me then whispered to me which only the two of us could hear

 '' Do you know Wil ? ''.

I stole a glance at the person who had been saved by me twice

'' So your name is Wil ? ''.

The drunk boy nodded

'' Au, you don't know ? ''. Joss looks weird.

Why do I have to know? When this is the second time I've met him.

'' No ''. I simply answered.

And he always in trouble when I meet him.

'' Why are you always in trouble every time I meet you? '' I pointed at him. His eyes opened wide.

'' And also you didn't that I told you pretty boys like you guys don't come to the bar alone ''. I also pointed at his friend.

I thought last night I already said clearly to him.

'' Wait..wait what happened, you know Saun ? ''. The person beside me seems did not quite understand the situation so he protested.

Did Joss just mentioned the name Saun?.

'' Saun you said, his name is Saun ? ''. I shifted my gaze to Joss and returned to that drunk boy's friend again.

'' Er,'' Joss nodded.

No wonder he looks so familiar to me it turns out he is Joss's old lover.

When we play basketball during our college days. He always with Jann sitting in the first row cheering for us

I want to make sure I'm not wrong, so I ask again

" Saun, that little man who often comes bringing water for you when we play basketball in the past, isn't it?

I had met him several times back then but I'm not really close with him we rarely talk to him.

" Long time no see P'San " Saun smiles sweetly at me.

" Yeah, it's been a long time " I smile back at him.

" By the way where is P' Jann? Are you both still together? " Saun launches one question that makes my heart in pain.

Suddenly the atmosphere becomes uncomfortable.

" Hmhm " Joss cleared his throat to break the sudden atmosphere.

Finally, I have gathered all my courage to answer Saun's question

" Jann died three years ago because of brain cancer "

" I'm sorry P'San " I can see Saun feels guilty

" It's okay " I know he is not on purpose so I smiled gently at him.

" And this your suit last night you forgot to take it. " Saun didn't ask further and he passes my suit to me.

I don't know why my suit is with him but when I take a look at my suit it's clean seems already washed by him.

" Yeah right, I came  to take my suit who knew I just stepped my feet inside to the bar I already saw the scene. " I glaring at Wil deeply. That sad sleeping face of him last night was still engraved in my head.

I want to know more about Wil and has a weird feeling of wanting to protect him. 

This is so weird I just don't know why ?.

Maybe because he looks pitiful and I want to be friends with him 

.

Yeah, must be like this.

Then I remember my grandmother's birthday is next week. I knew Joss would be there, but if Wil and Saun also present, it would be nice. So I don't need always to meet bored people at parties.

" Joss '' I called him.

I need Joss to bring them two especially Wil.

" What? "

" Next week my grandma's birthday you coming? "

'' Yes, I think so ".

" Then bring them both with you ". Even though I said both but my eyes only focused on Wil.

Joss paused for a moment to thinking before he replies to me.

" Okay jaa ".

Saun and Wil both surprised as expected.

" Thank you for the invitation Khun San, but I don't think I'm suitable for the party " Wil flatly refused me but did he think I will let him refuse me?

" I'm the same as Joss not accepting rejection " No matter what I want to see Wil at my grandma's birthday party next week.

" But .. " Wil wants to spoke again but Joss stopped him

 " Don't worry I'll bring them ". Joss winked at me.

" Alright, it's already late I sent you both home " Joss continued.

Just like that 4 of us spending our nights together Joss walks first followed by Saun and Wil behind them and me behind him.

" Wait " I grabbed Wil's arm.

He turns around staring at me with his pure eyes.

" This is my name card, have my number in it you can call me if you need help." I gave Wil my name card and walks past him before he could say anything.

These are the weirdest things that I ever had the feeling of wanting to know Wil grow stronger.

I wonder what kind of person are him?.

The next day I sat in my office and sulked for half a day. I have stared at my phone all morning and there is no incoming call from someone named Wil.

I rarely give my phone number to other people. There is many women and even men asked my phone number but I never give to any of them even though all of them are good looking I'm still not interested.

But when I did it the person named Wil didn't even call me.

Am I not handsome enough to make him call me?.

This should not happen. I want to meet him and ask him why he didn't call me?

I heard he is one of Joss hotel staff.

I took my cellphone and dialed the hotel owner.

" Joss "

[ What ?]

" Let's have lunch together ".

[ Aren't you always refusing when I invite you to lunch? ].

" Forget it, if you not free ".

I was about to hang up but the person over there shouted.

[ WAIT, are you on period? why are you in such a bad mood? ] .

" Damn you, Joss ".

[ Come to my hotel to meet me ].

We ended the call and I drove straight to the Joss hotel.

After we met. I told him I wanted to eat at the place where his hotel staff usually ate. Joss looked at me questioningly.

I told him I wanted to taste different dishes and Joss was no longer suspicious of me then took me to the place where his hotel staff had lunch.

Now is lunchtime and I'm sure Wil must be there too.

After we take our food. We found Saun sitting alone at an empty table I looked around and didn't find the figure I was looking for.

" Sawadde P'San " Saun greets me.

I greet him back.

I just put my ass down I heard Joss say " I feel their eyeballs will fall shortly. Since you walked in they didn't take their gazes from you ".

I ignored Joss and those gazes. I feel rather disappointed that the person I want to meet is not here.

" Hmhm " I cleared my throat twice before asking where is Wil.

" You alone N'Saun ".

" Yes " Saun gave me a short answer but that is not what I want to hear.

I don't want them both to arouse suspicion on me. So I act casually.

" Where is your last night.. your friend? ".

" You mean Wil? ".

Saun raised his head to look at me while Joss was busy eating his lunch.

I nodded a little.

" Oh, today is Wil's off day krub ".

So I come for nothing suddenly I lost my appetite.
