As soon as Everly hit send, she got a reply right away, reading, "Let's meet up in twenty minutes."
Seeing that quick response, Everly couldn't help but wonder if he had been waiting for her message all along.
Jennifer glanced at Everly, who seemed totally zoned out, and casually asked, "What's your plan with the Hastings?"
"I'm quitting," Everly declared with some serious determination.
She no longer had any affection for the Hastings anymore.
