Episode 10 Curse and Fates

ARIA'S

If there is one thing I am scared of that is my Grandmother. The first ever Female Alpha who ruled our pack and also a legend. She is my role model. And also my greatest nightmare. She is the one who trained me. Yes she is kind and modest but also can be ruthless when you make mistakes. She is a h*ll of a trainer!

One time she made me run on the field for the whole day under the blazing sun. No breaks!

"G-granny?"

"I came as soon as I heard the news from the Beta. Oh my poor grandchild." she said and approached me, I thought she was going to hug me but nope, she went for my ear, "You punk! What did I tell you about being reckless? Look at you! How will I explain this to your parents grave? I told you to shift carefully not recklessly!"

"Aw aw aaawwww! Grandma please! Im sorry okay?" she did let go of me but still continue with the ranting. I want to hug her but my hands are tied.

"I should be relaxing to Moha right now but you madenit impossible! For fudge sake! I am already retired from bwing an Alpha and a Luna after your Grandfather died! I need to refresh myself! Anyone bring me a cold Iced Tea please?"

"On it!" Hirochi was quickly gone.

My Grandmother slump on the sofa. She still looked young despite of being old.

"Now lets talk about your wolf. I am not able to attend your ceremony so I didnt see how beautiful my baby grandchild's wolf."

"I got pictures!" Rae said impressing my Grandma. She showed her the pictures. Her reaction? We got a poker face.

"Uhmm.."

"Here is your Iced Tea Madame." Hirochi suddenly came.

"Thank you young lad." Hirochi nodded and went back to where she is standing, "Shift to your wolf, I want to talk to her."

"B-but--"

"SHIFT!" she said using her Alpha tone. No one dares to defy her. This is why she is the best Alpha who ever lead our pack to its greatness.

I shifted and let Ruby out.

"Hello Ruby, it is nice to me you. How do tou find my grandchild as your partner?"

'Stronger than the last one I got patrtnered with.'

"Very well. May I know what happened? About the last one?"

'Got betrayed and killed. She is a Hybrid, half wolf half witch, that is why I have this curse.'

'Why didnt you tell me anything?' I asks.

'Well, you never ask me?'

"Aria I am talking to your wolf, shut up right now." Grandma said making me quiet, "What is this curse?"

'A curse where I would never die even if my human counterpart died. I will be passed down whichever the timeline is. Also along with the curse I am not be mated with any male wolves.'

"So you mean... Aria is fated to be mated with a female wolf?" Lily asks.

'Apparently? Yes. But not only to shewolves, she may be mated to a human or any other creatures as long as its female.'

They all fell silent.

This is news to me. Why of all the living things in this world I get to be chosen with this curse? Why?

"How about her body turning back to a 6 years old feature?" Grandma asks again.

'Because it has been from the start. Right from the beginning, Moon Goddess gave me powers only I can have. In exchange of that the human counterpart will bear the consequences, like what happened to Aria. That is one of the many, of course.'

"The heck is that? One of the many? Does that mean Aria will get worse effect than being reverted back to a 6 years old?" Freya said.

'No, only one from the many. You should be thankful that its only what she got. Other werewolf I got partnered with forgets everything, have a serious illness and died, some instantly died after the second time we shifted. Aria having a 6 years old body for the second shift is what we call miraculous enough. She is the first one to ever survive the second shift and I can feel that Aria will last. WE will last."

"Can I ask?" Akashi said, "I got a talk with one of the descendant from the last werewolf you got, that guy said we need to be careful with you? I onow that you kill withput mercy, we saw it with our own eyes. Our wolves are afraid of you and calling you 'Reaper'. Why?"

'Whoever told you that dont believe them. Always believe on Aria. Descendant you say? Tell you what? That last partner of mine doesnt have any family. She was rejected by her mate. Rejected by her family and even friends. So how would she ever have any descendants?' Ruby said making Akashi startled.

"Enough with that." Ruby looked at my Grandmother, "There is someone who wanted to see you Ruby. You are not the only one who got cursed." With that said my Grandmother shifted without a warning.

Her wolf still fascinates me. The elegant lining of her silver over the white fur and a touch of gold like color on her snout up to her head like she is wearing a crown.

'You!' Ruby suddenly got aggitated and went for a offense stance.

'Long time no see, Ruby.'

'Are you still not done playing? How did you got cursed? I saw you die!'

'No. Your partner is stupid chanting that curse while there is someone near them. Alive.'

'What do you mean?'

'Your precious human chanted a spell not only for you but also for the one who broke you. After that the rest is history.'

'I see... Well it is better this way. Elaine.'

I dont have any idea what is happening right now but one thing is for sure, this wolf hurt Ruby in the past.

Grandma shifted back to her human form. Hirochi being quick covering her with a robe.

"I see you still have grudge with my wolf? But that isnt important right now for we are older than you in this century, whatever happened to the both of you is in the past now. Please take care of Aria."

'I will dont worry. I dont want to make any loss again. Not this time.' Ruby said confidently, 'Your Grandaughter is stronger than what you think she is. She have potential only she can wield.'

"Very well. You can go shift back now and have a rest. Make sure to train hard, I will test you both myself to see of you two have improve."

Ruby just bowed her head and we shifted back. Freya covering me a robe quickly.

"Nice body." She whispered to my ear and it made me blush.

Why are they doing this to me?! Stop being flirty girls!

Grandma dismissed us and she went to her room. My friends decided to take a rest too because we all have an early flight tomorrow. Guess I have no other choice but to agree with all this.

I sighed and went back to bed. They will wake me up on donner time. I hope everything will be fine.
