Episode 8 The cursed wolf

Until now Aria is still sleeping. Hurochi, Imane, and Frake decided to make some research about her conditions.

"Why? Why now? Her birthday is 2 weeks away from now! We cant show her to everyone looking lland like you said talking like a 6 years old! This is ridiculous!" Beta Brandon said.

"Dad stop panicking okay? The trio is already looking for answers. If Aria doesnt get back to her original form before her birthday then we dont have a choice but to move it and tell everyone she is out of town for business." Lily suggested.

"The only thing Uru said to me is her wolf is someone a legend. That every wolf is scared of Ruby." I said.

"Yeah, my wolf said same thing to me." Rae said.

I look at Aria who move a bit from the noise we made. This is frustrating! Where can I find answers?

Akashi entered the room with a grim face, "Guys, we need to talk, now." she daid sternly making all of us stand up and follow her outside.

AKASHI'S

This is bad! This is bad! This is bad!

I said to myself while leading everyone to the meeting room. I know they are confused but they need to hear what I just found out.

"So what is your agenda?" ome of them asks when everyone is in the room.

"Okay, what I am going to say will shock everyone. But please? Dont panick okay?"

"Spill it Akashi." Yui said.

"There is no cure about Aria's condition right now. She will start back to being a 6 years old. Let's just be thankful that she turned like that than being in the worse case scenario. Its like that forever, like eternally. But dont worry, her being a 6 years old is just temporary, her body will revert back before her birthday." I said.

"Sounds like immortal to me. So what now? Everytime she shifts Aria will stay as a 6 years old?" Imane asks.

"Yes. Sounds like that. But of course it could be ended by her death. Like I said, the last werewolf who had Ruby died, unfortunately that person did something that resulted her death."

"And that is?" they all asks. I sighed. Why am I the only one suffering for this?

"She got betrayed by the one close to her. Her mate. Resulting her to lose control and killed by the Alpha at that time. That is why she cursed before she died that the next life of Ruby she wont fall in love to a man."

"Will you please explain more?" Iris said.

"I talked to someone related who died hundred years ago. Someone who knows about Ruby."

"And?"

"In front of you are the files about the 'someone' I said. Her name is Ai Miyamoto, from the land of Japan, she was known as Phantom Shinigami. Like I said, she died hundred of years ago and one of her direct descendants came to our packhouse. I dont know how they knew about Aria having Ruby as her wolf but they gave us a warning."

"What warning?"

"A warning saying that Ruby being Aria's wolf will make this pack a target of all the family she killed even if its a thousands of years ago or more. Good thing your pack is allied with strong packs but we are not so sure where their loyalty lies. Like ours. But dont worry, my parents said they will protect this pack even if they are miles away." I said.

"Well thats a good and bad news." Hirochi said heaving a sighed.

"So what do we do now?"

"Everyone knew that Aria will turn 18 in two weeks. But we cant have them know what happened to her, so we will tell them that we sent her away for some business and she will be back before her birthday. As for the work, Beta Brandon will be in charge for now and everyone will help."

I got their 'Okays' after that. My family cant afford to lose their Alpha. She is a powerful asset even if I dont like her. Aria being the next Reaper is a very big plus.

"Also we need to make sure that she is safe. We dont want to wait a next set of hundred years to make the Reaper bound to another werewolf." Frake said.

"Yeah, and find her mate as soon as possible. I wonder who could that be? The last owner of Ruby said she is not to be bounded to another guy so I am thinking the oppossite? I am bot quite sure is Moon Goddess agreed to it tho?" Lily said. She have that sparkling glint on her eyes.

"Well I am bounded to Iris." I said, "We cant have pups tho, but I think of adopting." Iris blushed.

"Anyway, for now oir focus is her safety until her birthday and not letting everyone knows about the situation. How about the Elders?" Beta Brandon said for the first time he we started the meeting.

"We also cant tell them. One of them smells like vampire, I am not sure who it is, but I am sure that one of them is a traitor and siding the vampires. My family as a Hybrid eliminates all the vampire who opposes the balance between the two. We need to maintain it, that is why we didnt hesitate when we got attacked. Me and my siblings being here doesnt mean we are siding the wolves but making sure that it is balance. Aria having Ruby is making it hard for us to keep it." Yui said rubbing her temples.

I was about to say something when we heard a scream not far away from the meeting room. A scream that made the whole place shake from its place.

"I think we need to be there before other wolves enter her room?" Freya suggested.

We all nodded and went out. For now we will leave what we talked about as it is and explain everything to Aria. Again.

I hate my life woth passion right now.
