Episode 15 Coming of Age

ARIA'S

We are now back to the packhouse. Everything is the same as we left 2 weeks ago. Energy left me after losing myself on that little war between rogues and Bright Alps Moon Pack. I am having tea with my grandmother today in her room. I am still not in good shape, though my body is back to normal I still need to regain my strength.

"How is your training my darling?" Grandma asks.

I sighed, "To be honest? It's terrible, the first week is fine, but the second week? It's a mess..."

"I heard. You had a fight with Lily, then she picks a fight with Freya, Alpha Kenji got you hit and got injured. Rogues attack after you woke up, you lost yourself and used some powers unknown to our kind, you just summoned undead my grandchild without your knowledge, you healed Freya and you collapsed." she paused, "And your eyes are silver now, you just got a full connection with your wolf. No royal has ever achieved that."

"You know everything already, what is there to explain."

"Frake told me everything. I asked her to watch over you because she is your cousin. She reports everything. And when I say everything it means well all the secrets you hide. But don't worry, only I and Frake know it. Her loyalty lies between the two of us, she deserves being the Beta, not the Gamma."

"I know, I already made my decision. I'll announce it on my birthday."

"Speaking of your birthday, I hope you find your mate and be happy. I already fix everything for you, my dear," she said smiling.

"Thank you, Granny. But I won't be accepting my mate. I don't think I can handle it. Being mated with another female? How can I have an heir?"

"There are processes we called adoption, surrogation, or we could call the great witch to give you or your mate a... you know... a p***s."

"Grandma!" I blushed at what she has said, I know she is a straightforward person but not this bold.

She chuckled at my reaction and sips her tea, "Any way you need to be ready for the day after tomorrow, I will stay for another two weeks to handle more of your training routine before and after your works."

"Yes, grandma. If you'll excuse me, I need to take a shower now."

She bows her head giving me permission to take my leave. I took a deep breath and let it out.

'You okay?' Ruby said.

"Yes, I am fine, stop asking me every hour please. I'll cut you off my mind if you ask again."

'Okay okay!'

She stops asking and I took the way to my room. Its not that far because it is on the same floor. My mind wanders to Freya and her pack, thinking if they are fine now. Things aren't that good when we left, I wanted to stay more but Alpha Kenji insist that he could take over from what I left after that little war broke down.

Once I enter my room and all alone, my legs gave, " Why am I so weak? I am not worthy to be an Alpha of this pack."

'No. You save one of the heir of Bright Alps, you are a savior, their Alpha even bowed down to you and begged, he even calls you their Queen.' Ruby cooed.

"No. They were attracted because of me." I sniffs.

'Aria, you ain't weak, you have me, I will be your strong side, I will lend you my strength for we are one.'

"Why should I be the one to have this curse? Why should you be cursed if you didn't any bad things? Why am I only mated to a female instead of being normal! Why do I need to f*ck Freya in the first place?! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I throw the first thing my hand gets a hold of and it crashed to the wall, "WHY?!"

'Aria calm down!'

The door suddenly opens and my grandmother enters with my friend, "What is happening here?" I look away to avoid their gaze.

She gestures my friends to leave us, "What is wrong with you my grandchild? You are okay earlier, no?"

"I just can't accept that those things happened and I blame myself for being weak."

She cupped my face and said, "You are not weak. You are a Hendrick, no no one in our family is weak, understand?" I nodded, "Now go freshen up and rest, you need it."

I did what she had told me and its true that it made me calm and collected. I hope everything went back to normal.

THIRD PERSON'S

Two days passed and the day they have all been waiting for arrived. The Coming of Age of their beloved Alpha, Aria Hendrick.

"Aria, you should be in the hall, not here sulking and drinking wine alone," Frake said to her cousin.

"What is the point? I already showed myself their for the opening, cant I have time for myself alone? Its my birthday after all, right?" Aria answered with dead eyes.

"I thought you want to search for your mate?" She said still trying to lure her cousin out of her room.

"She isn't out there in the hall"

"But what if she is?"

"Frake, what is it to you if I found my mate or not?"

"My point is, stop being wasted, you've been like this ever since we got home from Japan. Stop blaming yourself for the things that are not even your fault."

"You think that's all I ever think about?" her cousin nodded.

"I know every thought you are thinking. Girl, you're spilling it, Ruby cant even control it, you letting me read your mind. You are an open book to me."

"Since when?"

"Since we are kids."

Aria sighed and stood up from the chair. She fixed herself and went to the door, "Lets entertain my guests, shall we?" she smiled and went out.

"Still the same as ever," Frake said shaking her head as she went out of the room.

When they arrived everyone went silent. Whispers are heard complimenting the Alpha and her cousin. Aria was walking straight to her friends when a blissful aroma hits her nose. It is different compared to Freya's smell. This one is intoxicating, its making her crazy.

'Mate!' Ruby growled and howled on her head making her dizzy, 'Oops! Sorry about that lad!' Aria just shakes her head.

She followed the smell leading outside towards the garden inside the mini gazebo she and her friends build. She heard whimpers coming from inside, a whimper of help. Aria went in and throw the guy outside the gazebo.

"Are you okay?" She asked the girl who is half-naked.

"You! What do you think you are doing?! Don't you know who I am?" The guy shouted from outside, "Get out there and face me!"

"Stay where you are, don't leave, I'll be back." she sternly said to the girl who just nodded as response. Aria went outside facing the guy she threw out.

"A girl? Are you kidding me? Look, I will let this slide if you turn a blind eye to this and get out of my sight."

"Why are some male wolves always have to think as their d**k?"

"What did you say?"

"Because their f*****g d**k is in their heads." Aria said and in a flash, she was in front of the male wolf grabbing its crotch in one hand, "How does this feel? Does it felt good? Do you know who I am? Do you know who you just mess with?" Aria's eyes turning silver as her rage takes over.

"I-I'm sorry, whoever you are!" Aria let him go and kick him to the face but the male wolf didn't stop and shifted.

Aria shifted to Ruby, showing her perfect Crimson Red fur with a touch of white and silver eyes. As they shifted the male wolf cowers hiding her tail behind. Ruby howled signaling everyone to come out of the hall. Soon the garden is filled with wolves, shifted and in human form.

"Does any of you know this wolf?" Aria asks angrily.

"Alpha Aria Hendrick, I am Alpha Niel Loba of Silver Lily Pack, father of the future Alpha of our pack, Damon Loba, did my son offended you at some point?"

"You raised such a d**k head child! Do you know that he almost takes my mate?! If I didn't go out and found them he would already taint her with his filth! Banish your child once you went back to your pack! Or I will kill each and everyone in your family!"

"ARIA ENOUGH!" Aria's Grandmother the late Alpha and Luna of their pack shouted, "You are not to address anyone like that!"

"You don't understand a thing! This wolf tried to r**e my mate! He deserves to die!"

"Aria calm down okay? Please?" Frake said.

Aria didn't say any word until she felt something snuggling her. Ruby stands straight and tall as she indulges in what her mate is doing. It's trying to calm her down.

'Please, don't solve anything with violence.' their mate said looking her straight in the eyes.

She looks at her cousin, "Get me some bathrobes I don't want anyone to see my mate's body." Frake gestures to the guards and in just a few minutes Aria and her mate were already in their robes.

"Alpha Niel, if you still wish for a treaty with my pack make sure you teach tour son his lesson, I don't want to be allied with such a d**k head leader." She said and excuse themselves from everyone dragging her mate inside their packhouse.

Frake took control of the situation until the end of the party. Aria and her mate never came out of the room until the next morning.
