Darren p.o.v
"Zaire! Zaire! Stop running!" A familiar voice yelled.
I turned around and seen Zaire running to me she stopped running then fell then she started crying. Sydney came up to her and picked her up.
"Zaire I told you to stop running. You ok?" Sydney asked and kissed all over her face.
"Sydney," I said.
She looked up and smiled, but then she looked at Natalie and frowned.
"Hey Darren," She said.
"Sydney!" The kids yelled.
They ran to Sydney.
"Wassup y'all," Sydney said.
"Wait for me," Sam said running up to us.
"I thought we lost him," Tae whispered.
"Takari said we did," Imani whispered.
"Cuz we did," Takari whispered.
"Well he's back," Taylor whispered.
Sydney started laughing.
"Why did y'all leave him?" Natalie asked.
They didn't say anything.
"Sydney!" A familiar voice yelled.
It was Trey, Nia, and Andre. They walked up to us.
"Aww look at you Zaire," Nia said.
"Hey Imani," Andre said.
"What do you want?" Imani asked.
We ignored them and started talking.
"So Darren are you going to introduce her?" Nia asked.
"This is my girlfriend Natalie, Natalie this is Sydney, Trey, and Nia," I said.
They greeted each other.
"So what are you having?" Natalie asked.
"We don't know yet, we find out next week and y'all should come to the dinner we having tomorrow," Nia said.
"Okay," Natalie said.
"Stop hitting me!" Takari yelled.
"What's wrong Takari?" Sydney asked.
"He keeps hitting me," She said.
"Sam stop hitting her," Natalie said.
"Can we go get more candy?" Andre asked.
"Yea come on," Trey said.
"Yea we are going to go get some more candy," Sydney said.
"Take us with you," Taylor begged.
"You don't want to stay with us?" Natalie asked.
"Hell no," Tae said.
Nia slapped the back of his head.
"Oww," He said while rubbing the back of his head.
"Don't say it again or I'm telling Kylie," Nia said.
"I guess they can come with us," Trey said.
Vince p.o.v
10:00 a.m
"Here you go Dr.Martinez," Fiona said.
She handed me a clipboard, my next patient was Loretta Evans. I knocked on her door.
"Miss. Evans," I said.
She turned around and had a smile on her face. She had a black eye, hand prints around her neck, and scars on her body and face. This is the fifth time she's been in the hospital.
"How are you feeling?" I asked.
"Good, when can I leave?" She asked.
"Umm actually you can leave now, do you have a ride or a place to stay?" I asked.
For some reason something was telling me to help her.
"No," She said.
"Well I was about to go on my lunch break, but I can help you," I said.
"I don't know," She said.
"How old are you?" I asked.
"23," She said.
"I can help you look for a place to stay and maybe a job, here you can change into these," I said.
She had left to go change. I could hear Sydney now complaining about me trying to help her but she should understand.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yea," She said.
We go outside to my car, I opened the door for her.
"Where do you live?" I asked.
"I don't have a place to stay no more," She said.
So I took her to my house. Just to stay there in the meantime.
"What is this place?" She asked.
"I'm letting you stay here until you get your life back together," I said.
"Thank you, but I would rather live on the streets," She said chuckling.
"Nope so come on," I said.
She finally got out the car, we walked in my house and I lead her to the guest bedroom. I called Kylie.
"What Vince?" She asked.
"I need a favor," I said.
"Where you at?" She asked.
"Home," I told her.
"Okay I'm on my way," She said.
Kylie arrived a few minutes later.
"What you need?" She asked.
"I'll show you," I said.
We went upstairs and I showed her Loretta. She gave me a confused look.
"I need you to take her out and get her some things and a job," I said.
"So like a makeover?" She asked
I nodded my head. Kylie gasped and started she started clapping.
"Yes! Yes!" She exclaimed.
I covered her mouth then Loretta came out.
"Move Vince...hi I'm Kylie," Kylie said.
"Loretta Evans," Loretta said.
"Okay Vince you can go and Loretta you can come with me," Kylie said.
"Wait here," I said and gave her my black card.
"Nope I got your best friend black card," Kylie said.
"Back together?" I asked.
"No I took it when I destroyed the house," She said.
"Oh...well Loretta have fun," I said.
She gave me a warm smile. They left. I feel like I have to protect her now and take care of her.
Kylie p.o.v
"Here try this on," I said.
I gave her a blue high low dress.
"So how do you know Vince?" I asked.
"I met him today at the hospital," She said.
"You must be special," I said.
"How?" She asked.
"Vince really doesn't ask us to help a female that just came in his life like he will wait a couple of months, the only time he asked me to help his wife was planning their anniversary," I said.
"Oh," She said.
She came out.
"You look pretty, do you like it?" I asked.
"Yea," She said.
"Okay so we will get this one," I said.
She went back into the dressing room. I took her to get her hair and nails done. She is coming to the dinner tonight, I'm forcing Vince to bring her. After she got her hair done in curls I took her back to Vince house.
"Okay you pick something out tonight because Vince is taking you somewhere," I said.
"How do you know? Did he plan this?" She asked.
"No we're having a dinner and I want you to come so wear something cute," I said and left her room.
"Vince!" I yelled.
"Yea," He said.
"Your taking her to the dinner tonight okay so bye see you," I said and left.
