Chapter 3:
Right after school, the girls started to chat and plan for their night.
"Where exactly are we going?" Monica asked.
"I told you, we're going somewhere you'll definitely enjoy." Chloe said, smiling.
"Just give me one f*****g harmless clue." Monica pleaded. Alexandra nodded.
"Stop swearing, dude. Here's your clue. It's going to be an all-girls thing." Alexandra said.
"An all-girls thing, what could it be?" Monica asked herself. Alexandra laughed.
"You said a one harmless clue. So, I gave you one." She said. Monica lightly glared at her.
"Alex, isn't that a bit much? She couldn't even get a hint." Rhys asked.
"Well, Rhys, she asked for it." Kathrynne said.
"You know, we should go. It's getting late." Samantha said, getting pissed. Rhys looked at her, smiling.
"Come on, we should go to the mall first." Rhys said.
"Shopping?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah, shopping. I'm so excited." Kathrynne said, lively.
"What exactly is going on here? It's ridiculous." Monica said. Rhys smiled amusingly.
"You'll know soon, Nica, you'll know soon. Why we're acting differently than before as you have mentioned." Rhys said, serious. Monica looked at her, slightly taken aback.
They started their way to the mall, going with their cars. Right after arriving, they went straight into one of the stores, Harington & Co. They were greeted by the guard and received excited looks from the sales lady, widely grinning. They looked everywhere to search for clothes and shoes.
“Please close the store for now.” Rhys requested. The staff smiled, following her instructions.
“The power of a rich girl. Truly amazing.” Samantha teased. Rhys rolled her eyes.
“Stop it.” Laughing at her response.
"You should dress first, Rhee." Chloe said. She nodded and went inside the dressing room. Monica gaped.
"What's wrong with all of you?" Monica asked. They blinked.
"What do you mean?" Kathrynne asked.
"Well, I have this feeling that the five of you are not the one I knew before. I'm getting paranoid here, actually." Monica said. Chloe narrowed her eye. Alexandra looked at Chloe then at Monica.
"Can you elaborate that?" Alexandra asked. Monica sighed.
"Well, Rhys act more seriously; Chloe act maturely; Sam looks more violently; Kath act giddy while Alex act like a boss or something." Monica stated. Alexandra blinked, surprised.
"I do not act like a boss at all." Alexandra protested. Monica shook her head.
"I don't mean that term. It's just... the closest one." Monica said.
"You'll know soon, Nica." Sam said, sighing. Monica nodded hesitantly.
Then, Rhys came out. Wearing a pink wig, she has her hair on a high ponytail and is wearing electric blue contacts. She's wearing a black one-sided sleeve that shows her violet tattoo and blue short-shorts. Matching it with a high-heel wedge.
Monica silently gasped.
"Rhys, what the hell?" Monica asked. Rhys blinked.
"What?"
"You don't usually wear those type of clothes." Monica asked. Rhys smiled, not answering.
"People change, Nica." Chloe whispered as she walks towards the dressing room.
"Yeah. You're completely different, Rhys. I feel like you're not the Rhys I once knew. You’re wearing a wig!" Monica said, afraid.
"Nica, I promise, I'll explain it later. Calm down for now, we don’t have enough time." Rhys said, gently smiling. This made Monica smile and her fear gone.
"Okay, as long as you guys don't keep secrets from me." Monica said.
Chloe came out. Has a black wig as well and crimson contacts for her eyes. She's wearing a red tube that shows her pink tattoo and a suspender on the black skirt. She's wearing high heels.
"Am I going wear the same thing as well?" Monica sweat dropped. Chloe nodded.
"Yes, you will." Chloe said.
"I don't want to." Monica said.
"Nica, you have to." Alexandra said.
"I don't want to!" Monica strongly exclaimed.
"Monica, this is an order. You will change into these clothes whether you like it or not." Rhys said, slightly glaring. The girls looked at Monica with pity.
"What? How did you... change?" Monica asked, looking at them, real surprised.
"We did not change." Kathrynne said. They nodded.
"Then what is this?" Monica asked. Samantha sighed.
"Rhys, give Nica a break." Samantha said, looking at her. Rhys looked at Samantha.
"Go and dress up." Rhys said. She sighed, nodded and left. Rhys sighed and walked towards Monica.
"Sorry, Nica… But we have to do this." Rhys said, hugging her.
"Nica, you're stronger than this. Just cooperate with us and everything is going to be alright." Kathrynne said.
"I know. It's just that, I feel like I'm not with my friends but with strangers." Monica explained.
"Oh, Nica. That's not true." Chloe said. Monica smiled.
"Yeah. Cause once I find out about your secret… I'm back to my normal self." Monica said. They laughed.
"You'll know it after this dressing up thingy, Nica." Chloe said. Alexandra nodded.
"Right. Anyways, you know... This is the first time I heard Rhys say Nica's first name." She said.
"Yeah. It's pretty scary." Chloe commented. Rhys pouted then laughed.
"I don't want to do this to you, Nica, but you can't refuse it." Rhys said, little serious.
Monica nodded, smiling. Then, Samantha came out. She has her hair in a low braided-style and is wearing yellow green contacts. Doesn’t have a wig but has a spray that can temporarily color her hair into an orange one. She's wearing a brown D&G dress that shows her pink tattoo. She's also wearing high heels.
"I'll dress first, Alex." Kathrynne said.
"Sure, but don't make me wait." Alexandra said. She nodded, laughing.
"I won't. I'm a fast dresser." Kathrynne joked.
"Sorry to say this but I'm still not used to it." Monica said.
"It's okay. Don't force yourself." Rhys said.
"Anyways, I noticed something." Chloe said.
"What is it?" Samantha asked.
"Are we all going to wear high heels?" Chloe asked. They smiled.
"Well, we have too. Right, Sam?" Alexandra asked. Samantha smiled.
"Yes, that's the rule." Samantha said.
"Besides, it's a lot sexier than sandals." Rhys said, winking. They laughed.
"Wait. What rule?" Monica asked.
"You'll know later." Chloe said. She narrowed her eyes at them, suspicious of what is going on.
"You sure it's nothing?" Monica asked. Chloe looked at her.
"I don't want to hear any questions." She said. This made Monica shut up.
Then, Kathrynne came out. She has her hair in a side ponytail and is wearing yellow contacts. Will be coloring her hair into a blue one. She's wearing a pink sport bra but has a white bolero that also shows her pink tattoo and a denim short. She's wearing a PU fashion shoe.
"You look hot, Kath." Rhys teased. Kathrynne grinned.
"Why thanks, Rhys." She responded. Rhys laughed.
"I'll go next." Alexandra said.
"You better look for clothes, too, Nica." Chloe reminded.
"Oh, shoot!" Monica said.
"I'll help you." Samantha said, winking.
"Wait!" Rhys said. They looked at her.
"Nica, look for accessories. Chloe, you look for a skirt. Sam, look for her heels. Kath, help me." Rhys said.
"Maybe I should go find all of it on my own." Monica suggested.
"No, we'll help you." Chloe said.
"It has to be a hot outfit." Kathrynne said. They started searching around the store.
"I found a top." Rhys said.
"Tiny jacket." Kathrynne said.
"I found her a skirt." Chloe said.
"And I found black cuffs. I hope it blends well." Monica said.
"At last, I finally found a heel." Samantha said.
After that, Alexandra came out. She has her hair in a low bun and removed her round eye glass to be replaced by auburn contacts. The only one without a wig and won’t color her hair either. She's wearing a blue and white striped button up shirt with a bright yellow V neck sweater that shows her pink tattoo and a blue mini skirt. She's wearing high heels.
"Do I look hot?" Alexandra joked.
"You always look hot, Alex." Chloe said.
"So lastly, Monica. After this, we'll go straight to the mansion." Chloe said. Monica walked toward dressing room.
"Oh, make your hair hang loosely. Don't tie it in a bun." Rhys added. She received a nod from her.
"What's her tattoo color?" Kathrynne asked.
"If she passed, she'll have the pink one. But for now, red it is." Rhys said.
"Pink? Isn't that for the 'Bishop'?" Alexandra asked.
"Well, it's not nice to have her in the 'Pawns'. She's our friend." Samantha said.
"So, it's decided. We'll put her in the 'Knights' so she can catch up to us." Rhys said.
"She didn't notice the tattoos, yet.” Chloe said. Rhys nodded.
Monica came out. She has her hair down and is wearing aquamarine contacts. For her hair, the wig helped as she now has bangs. Wearing a red spaghetti strap top and short skirt, matching it with a tiny jacket lined with green that also has black cuffs. She, too, is wearing high heels.
"Come on, we need to go back to the mansion." Chloe said.
