Chapter 25

2143 Words

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth.” ― William W. Purkey You will never know the power of yourself until something hurts you badly. It doesn’t matter what hurt you, or broke you down, what matters is what made you smile again. Being hurt is like having your heart twisted and torn and wrung, but not ruined. Bad things are always going to happen in life. But you can’t use that as an excuse to give up on what you were doing. Experiencing pain is part of being human. From scraped knees to our first heartbreak, being hurt is unpleasant, but unavoidable. The pain of yesterday is the strength of today. The worst loss you’ve ever experienced is the greatest gift you can have.
