Henry Carson was speechless for a moment, taken aback by Jennifer's insistence on having him accompany her to school. With Sophie Mitchell setting clear boundaries just a while ago, he could only look towards her for a decision.
"Jennifer, you can head to school on your own. Henry and I rarely come to Stoneland, and we want to spend some quality time with Aunt Luna," Sophie quickly explained.
"Oh come on, they are grown-ups, what's there to accompany? Shouldn't you be spending time with me instead? I get so bored in class," Jennifer pleaded.
"Jennifer, how can you be so thoughtless!" Luna intervened, scolding her.
"I don't care. If you want to stay home with mom, you stay, but Henry must come with me to school," Jennifer insisted, leaving Henry in an internal groan and Sophie furrowing
