As he stood, Rowan Erickson approached Henry with a slight smile. "Ms. Erickson, are you here for the concert?"
"Of course," she replied, "Ava Evans is an international star, and it's her first time performing in our country. I couldn't miss the opportunity."
"What about you?" she probed.
"I'm here with my wife; she's been a fan of Ava since she was young," Henry explained.
Rowan looked intrigued. "Why aren't you inside? The Wei family has gone to great lengths to bring Ava here, primarily for the jewelry exhibition. Rumor has it that they'll be showcasing a jewel known as the 'Heart of the Emperor'."
Henry simply shrugged, "Not really my thing."
Rowan arched an eyebrow. "Jewelry is a woman's best friend. Just because you aren't interested doesn't mean your wife isn't."
