His Substitute Wife

"You May Kiss the bride", the priest announced as i feel tears fall I am now Mrs. Susmita Romano -I am now a wife.Dante grabs my waist and pulls me close as I feel his lip above my cheeks, not even touching it and in a second he pulls away from me and walks down the altar all by myself..

I walk towards the exit alone with a wide range of thoughts running through my head.Once i reached outside of the hall,a car speed right past me almost knocking me over in the process.I look up ready to give the driver a full of mouth of insults but find Dante's eyes looking directly at me from the side mirror....

Well, My husband just almost ran me over on our wedding day..

"James!"I call out to the driver standing at the fountain, I actually knew him quite well because he use to be escorted to the Romano Residents.He waves and walks towards me,"hello,Mrs.Romano, how may I help you?"I shiver at the now go by, Please call me Susmita and I need you to take me to Blue Water Hotel to get ready for the reception"..

I smile at him as he bows and get in the car. I sit in the back of the car and peer out of the window thinking"What the hell happened to my life?"After 10 minutes of driving, James stopped in front of the Blue Water Hotel, Please, do wait for me,I will be back in an hour or less". He nod with a smile and drive off to park the car...

I enter the hotel and check in with the receptionist for the honeymoon suite that my parents booked for us.She smiles and congratulates me before she goes back to her work.I work towards the elevator and wait...

I take this time to look around and notice how modern and smart this hotel is, the walls are light shade of blue and the windows and doors were all made up of glasses, the couches in the corner of the waiting room are cream and black in colour, It was absolutely stunning....

The elevator ding and my gaze fall on the door.A family walk out and I give them a smile, they look down at my wedding dress and smile back, "congratulations!" I thank them and walked into the elevator,I press floor number 7 as the elevator door closed.I lean on the wall sigh. I am married now!...

The elevator open and I walk out.I look at my room card and see the room number is 306..

I walk down the hall searching for the room; I turned to my right and see room 301, I continue down the hall and finally, I am arrived at room 306..

I swipe the card in the scanner and the door unlocked, I push it open and a bed comes to my view. I open wider as I see Red roses decorating

the bed with a neatly iron suit place on top.He is here..

I walk towards my suitcase that is place near a door that slightly open,"ahh" my eyes widened when I see two bodies smashed against each other, completely naked and moving in sync together...

I grab my dress and purse to leave the room immediately. He is cheating on me on our wedding night, Even though this marriage is just a business deal but atleast he should show some respect towards..

I take my dress towards the elevator but before I can do so I spot a staff bathroom to my right.Atleast God has some soft corner for me..

After 30 minutes of struggling to take out the wedding dress, I finished to do so, I open my bag to touch up my make-up.I was never someone who loves make-up-wait;I actually hate it but since my parents is the "typical Dress towards your status", type of people, I had to get used to it..

I let my hair fall down as it set down in curls, removing the reception dress from the plastic bag, I Stare at it in admirat, the colour of the dress is royal blue, suited with the whole theme of the wedding and reception.The dress match with blue and silver heels with a beautiful necklace and stunning earrings, Definitely my mother choice...

I fake a smile as I walk out of the staff bathroom with my head high.I wait for the elevator, once she door open I step in and as the door closed, I look up and see him Dante..

He walks in and completely ignore me; the door

of the elevator close as I stare at the floor finding it very interesting "I know you were in the room", I look up and see him smirking down at me,"I come to get my dress", I mumbled as I look at the floor once again," "Well, did you enjoy the view?"I look up, confuse.what view?"Huh"?he laughs aa he lean on the elevator wall, Don't act all innocent,I know you have seen Mysa and I together in the bathroom...

I take this time to observe him,his dark brown slick hair is set on one side and he wore a blue suited with a white bottom up shirt inside pair with a tie.He has his bottom lip between his teeth and his jawline is so sharp as if it can make a paper cut on your fingers. He looks handsome...

Take a picture,it will last longer,"I look away quickly as I blushed. It soon fade away when I realize what he said before, I turn sharply towards him and gab my fingers into his chest,"Even though, this is an arranged marriage you could atleast have some respect towards this marriage.we have made vows to each other and I hope you know that just because this is business,, I will not let you treat me like a shit.Try your best to break and you are not going to do what you did to my sister,to me!no matter what you do to me, I won't Leave". I was so close to his face that I could feel his minty breath on mine...

The elevator door open, I walk out with my confidence on a maximum level but before I could step out of the door, Dante grabs my hand and pulls me to the other side of the hotel , bringing a lot of attention on us..

"Let me go, you Bastard", I scream at him as I try to yank my hand away from his but he just adds more pressure.I wince as I feel a burning sensation on my wrist which will soon cause a bruises. The wind soon hit my face as I realize we are now outside- at the back of the hotel..

He pushed me against the wall and traps both my hands above my head,"you little - you have no idea who you speaking to! don't forget I can do a lot worse than what I did to your sister and you should watch that pretty mouth of yours because I promise you it will get you in a lot of trouble". His eyes wonder down at my lips as I feel him wonder against my body..

" I made your sister run for her life, Susmita. I don't mind doing the same to you, but remember one thing, this is just a marriage for a year because after I get your father's business you will be divorce and ditched like garbaged..

He let's go and turn around walking away while leaving me to drown in my thoughts. have I ruined my life by accepting this marriage? But,yet again, did I have a choice?

I walk towards the car, I get in and tell James that we can leave,um...Mrs.Romano, your make,-up?I take out the mirror from my purse and see my make up make-up messed up, I didn't even notice I stead a few tears,Gosh! I need to t

stop being weak I sigh, I take out my make up to redo it," Are you alright,Mrs. Susmita? Ask a concern James. I smile and nod at him to drive off to the party..

I look out of the window and whispered to myself, Welcome to my married life".
