Chapter 6: Fallen for him

Ethan's pov

Saturday rolled over and I decided to walk to Felice's house so we could go to Lily's house together.

I left one hour earlier, the streets were clean and the weather was perfect for a walk. Flowers grew on both sides of the street, the air was fresh and I tried my best to take it all in as I walked down the street.

It was a 10 minutes walk to Felice's parent's house but it took me 15 minutes to get there.

I got there and told the security I was there to see Felice and he asked for my name.

"Ethan" I said politely

He ushered in .

The compound was very wide and was well beautified.

Everything smelled of luxury. I walked around taking the beauty in.

"Hey baby boy" Felice called. I looked closely at the swimming pool and there she was in a swimsuit, her wet hair clung to her neck and her face, she was so beautiful.

"There you are" I said walking to the swimming

pool. I dropped my bag on the chair and sat there watching her in the pool.

"Come in " she said tilting her head to the side.

"No have fun" I replied.

"I can't have fun with you sitting down there watching me" she said.

"Well I'm not with any extra undies" I said

"Lame" She said diving into the water.

"Wrap it up, so we can go" I shouted so she could hear me.

She came out of the pool and I gave her the towel.

"Buzz killer" she said snatching the towel. I laughed and joined her into the sitting room.

"Please don't take too long, it's just study group not a party" I said

She gave me a middle finger and walked up the stairs .

I opened my phone and saw so many notifications. Lily was at it again.

She was asking where we were

"Felice is getting ready" I texted her

"Ohhh okay be fast, my mom's cutting fruits and making deserts, she's cooking up a feast"

"Awwwn I'm excited " I texted

"There's food " I shouted for Felice to hear

"Now that's motivation " Felice screamed back

It took us 10 minutes to get to Lily's house, the driver kept playing kpop making me wonder if Felice was a kpop fan but for some reason I decided not to ask.

Lily's mom welcomed us at the door. One look at her and you'll see wealth, Lily got her beautiful round face and large eyes from her, she was an older version of Lily, cute and charming.

She hugged Felice and gave me a side hug.

She held my hand as we walked into the sitting room

"Lily has told me so much about you. Thanks for helping her study, I was scared she won't be going to college " she said patting my hand.

"She's like a younger sister to me and I enjoy doing it " I said

"Thank you, thank you, I cooked, eat before studying, I'll be upstairs in case you did anything" she said ushering us to the dinning and walking up the stairs.

I paused at the entrance, I wanted to turn around and go home. Ayden was sitting at the dining casually eating fruits.

He raised his eyes as we walked in and said a casual hi.

"Hi!!!???" I mumbled

"Lily said y'all were studying together and I decided to join, for some reason I've been distracted and haven't been able to get anything into my head and like you said, I need to focus on my studies so I can get into a good school" he said looking at me...

I scoffed, what did he think he was doing? Felice held my hand gently and said "Oh Ayden welcome, we're happy to have you here, I was just telling Ethan on our way here that you were his only friend I haven't talked to " she was really coy.

Ayden's hand tightened around the fork in his hand.

"I see, Ethan" he said searching my eyes for answers

"You're here " Lily said coming into the dining room. She was wearing a silk gown that barely covered her thighs.

" Go back up and wear some clothes" I said sitting down.

Felice began to chuckle and then it turned to a hearty laugh. Lily slapped my back and ran upstairs

"What was she thinking" Felice said in between laughs "I mean we're here to study"

"Says someone wearing a party dress and took hours getting her make-up done" I replied

"Well you were captivated when I walked down those stairs " she said

"More like exhausted from sitting for three hours waiting for......." and she shoved an apple into my mouth.

Ayden watched us from across the table. He was angry and it was satisfying.

"How do I look" Lily was at the entrance.

She was wearing sweatpants and singlet.

"Now you look like the host" I said

She sighed and sat close to Ayden.

"You look pretty my princess" Felice said stretching her hand across the table and holding Lily's hand.

"Gross" Lily said pushing her hand away.

Lily's mom made pasta and meatballs, I passed the fork to Felice and Lily.

We ate in silence.

After the meal Lily and Felice argued that they couldn't study that full so they sat together browsing through fashion magazines.

I stayed close to them, I didn't want to be left alone with Ayden because I couldn't trust myself.

I knew I could throw caution to the wind and try what Felice suggested.

It was now 6pm and I was done with their excessities, so I dragged them both of them off the chair, and half dragged them up the stairs to Lily's room, Ayden followed behind.

Lily had already arranged the table and 4 chairs.

We sat around and began to work.

We started with maths and Lily and Felice were breaking my heart with each problem.

It was almost 7pm and Felice was already half asleep, Ayden was busy with a problem and Lily was playing with her pen.

"I need water" I said to Lily

"The kitchen, next to the dining" Lily said resting on the table, letting out a huge sigh of relief.

" I'll be back soon , don't celebrate too soon" I walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen through the dining.

It was the typical kitchen you'll find in a wealthy man's house.

Lily's mom was definitely a neat freak, everything was well arranged and spotless.

I grabbed a bottle of water and poured it into a drinking cup.

I just finished drinking the water when Ayden walked in.

"What are you doing here" I asked without turning to look at him

"Probably same thing you're doing here, I need something to drink" he said

" Have you always been this interested in studying?" I asked

"Well since you already know why I'm here, I should get to the point, What's going on between you and Felice?" He asked moving towards me.

"What's going on between you and Steve" I returned his question.

"You know there's nothing going on. I really don't see him that way" He held my hand.

"There's nothing going on between me and Felice" I said.

He pulled me into a hug. His face nestled in my neck. He squeezed me into his arms. I could feel hot breath on my neck "I've missed you so much" he whispered.

I couldn't hold it in anymore. I slowly pulled away staring at him for a long time, my heart was beating so fast, I was scared I was losing my mind. I stood on my toes and pecked him on his lips, his breath became raspy, his ears were bright red. He leaned closer , one arm on my face the other on my head , he bent his face to my face level.

I was blushing so hard but I didn't dare back down, his eyes were searching mine as if asking if he could do it, I stood on my toes this time going in for a kiss. His lips were warm, he deepened the kiss , sliding his tongue into my mouth.

I moved my hands to his neck, his hands went to my waist and he lifted me so I was straddling him.

I immediately pulled away "put me down" I said softly.

He put me down but didn't let me go, he held me in his arms , his faced buried in my neck

"I love you, I really do" he said.

"I don't want to be far from you, I don't want you to see me and walk away, I want to be able to hold you this way all the time" he choked

"Are you crying"

"No" he said his voice husky

I patted his back gently, rubbing it occasionally.

"I'm fine" he mumbled.

Let's go back to the others so they don't get worried.

We climbed the stairs and walked to Lily's room, they both were asleep so I just woke Felice up so we could go home
