The following day, Bella volunteered to look after Morgan to give Iris peace of mind. Iris, on the other hand, was a little apprehensive. It would be her first time leaving her daughter to go to another city. Though Hewt was only a two-hour drive, she was still worried that things wouldn’t go as scheduled since the roads were currently under repair – thanks to the upcoming provincial elections, the politicians were heavily putting up a good image to the citizens.
“You have got to chill. Morgan is already five. She’s not an infant that needs to be nursed. Besides, we enjoy spending time together. There’s nothing for you to worry about. It’s not like I’m going to sell off my goddaughter,” said Bella impatiently.
