Iris awoke at the c***k of dawn the following day to prepare a lovely lunchbox. After a few hours of research the previous night, she specifically and meticulously created an arrangement of a cat-shaped rice lying on its back on a bed of colorful vegetables cut into intricate little flowers. Along with several side dishes, she was confident that they would enjoy their lunch after the tedious games during the school event. She wanted Morgan to make the most of her first Family Day at preschool, knowing that having a happy and fun-filled childhood would help in a child’s brain development.
