16. Suspended Moments

“Nothing much has changed here, huh,” Hunter commented as he gave the living room a swift scan, his gaze landing on the picture frames that were hung on the wall. His mouth curled into a contented grin. The photos that used to be on the table against the wall were artistically arranged, like a mosaic, giving the room a bit more modern feel. Aside from the new couch and throw pillows, everything else looked familiar to him. The layout, the wooden tiles, the iron wood coffee table, and even the large vase in the corner were the same. Feeling a sense of gratification, Hunter thought that the cozy living room was filled with a lot of warmth – a feeling just like home. He had spent most of his teenage years there and the fact she kept everything as they did almost ten years ago was a relief
