Kylin’s words calmed Lena's volatile mood down.
Kylin gave her a reassuring look and then turned to Isaac, saying, "Mr. Newton, may we have a word?"
Isaac's cold eyes met his, and after a few seconds, he agreed.
The two men went to another room while Lena and Joseph immediately surrounded Diana's bedside.
Joseph looked concerned as he asked, "Diana, what has he done to you?"
Diana gritted her teeth, frustration evident in her voice. "I'm not hurt, nor have I suffered."
Joseph rubbed his temples. "What on earth is the grudge between you two?"
"An irreconcilable one!"
Lena held Diana’s hand tightly, comforting her, "Whatever it takes, we will get you out of here!"
