Don’t start with me

Ashley looked at me shocked probably thinking I wouldn’t answer her back.

“ listen Ashley, I’m not the same girl I was two years ago and I won’t take your s**t anymore, so I suggest you turn back around walk away and leave me the f**k alone before I get really mad and trust me you don’t want that you really don’t wanna start with me”

I turn back around sit down and continue to eat my lunch without a care in the world that the whole cafeteria is staring at me. I looked back at Ashley with a raised eyebrow waiting for her to say something but all she dose is look me up and down and walk off.

“Wow your really not the same Kenna” Ryder said and I looked at him and smiled.

“ I’m still the same just won’t take anyone’s s**t anymore” I say loud enough for everyone to hear and walk out to get some air.

As I’m walking out to the school gardens I hear my name being called I turn around and see Ryder walking up to me with a smile.

“ you ok Kenna?” He asked while hugging me and leaving his arm around my shoulders, it feels nice being in his arms.

“Yeah I’m great I just don’t want people to think they and still cause s**t for me and me not say anything” I say shrugging. We walk to a bench and sit down, for some reason Ryder looks a little nervous.

“ Ryder what’s wrong you look at little nervous” I say giggling. He looks at me and smiles and tucks my hair behind me ear and I just look in his eyes. I’ve always loved his eye they are amazing.

“ uh… would you like to go on a date with me? I no it’s sudden but I’ve always liked you Kenna, even before you left. And I know you think I was with Ashley but I wasn’t really we was kinda seeing each other but I never asked her to be my girlfriend, but the way she treated you was not ok I really started to dislike her and when she pulled that prank on you that was it for me I couldn’t take it no more. After school that day I came to see if you was ok but your mom told me you already left and well I was kinda heartbroken bout it”

“Really?” I asked not really believing what he’s saying I mean, he and the boys never did anything bad to me and always looked sorry for me.

“ yeah really, so please go on a date with me?” I look in his eye and I can tell he’s telling me the truth.

“ yeah ok I’ll go out with you and I have to tell you, I’ve always had a crush on you as well I just didn’t say anything, I mean your sister new about it but no one else. I just didn’t wanna make a fool outta myself”

Next thing I know Ryder took my face in his hands and kissed me. At first I was shocked and took me a second to respond but when I did the kiss was amazing. I put my arms around him and kissed him back, he held me close and licked my bottom lip, I opened my mouth and Ryder put is tongue in my mouth and started to kiss me with so much passion. The bell when off ending lunch and we stopped kissing and just looked at each other and smiled.

“ I’ve always had a crush on you too Kenna, come one the guys and Megan are gonna wonder where we are” I nodded and started walking back into school, Ryder held my hand I look down and smiled. I look a Ryder and he was already looking at me with a smile of his own. What a great first day back.
