Walking back into school holding Kenna hand was great and that kiss amazing. Walking up to our friend with a s**t eating grin on my face they all turn around and look at our hand.
“Ha I told you Kenna that my bro had a thing for you” Megan said and well she’s not wrong I’ve always likes Kenna but my feeling got deeper over the last two year but I’ll keep that to my self for now.
“ yeah apparently I wasn’t the only one crushing , your brother just told me he’s always liked me too”
“ well it’s bout time man!!” Gage said to me. He’s the only one that new about my feeling for Kenna he’s the adult of out little group and give the best advice.
“Yeah I no and I’ve asked Kenna out on a date” I turn to look at her “Friday night ok?”
“Yeah perfect what we doing?”
“Not telling baby girl it’s a surprise” I say with a smirk he just shakes her head and lets out a little laugh.
“ right bro let get to class” Jake says. We all turn to go out separate ways but not before I pull Kenna to me and kiss her. “ talk to you later baby girl”
“See ya later Ryder” she says and walk away with my twin sister. I can’t get this s**t eating grin off my face.
“ so you told her?” Gage asked me with a small smile of his own.
“ well I didn’t tell her that I may be in love with her but yeah I told her I like her, depending on how this week goes imma ask her to be my girlfriend on our date Friday night.” I already know what we gonna do.
“ what’s your plan?”
“ picnic on the beach then a walk and ask her to be mine” I say smiling
“ bro you have it bad” Gage said laughing at me and well I didn’t disagree.
It was the end of the day and I was walking to my car hoping to catch Kenna before she left. “ Ryder” I new that annoying voice. Ashley.
“What Ashley you know I don’t like talking to you anymore”
I looked at her and she’s trying to be all flirty and cute but I no she’s not. She’s slept with half the football team and still tried getting with me.
“ why was you sitting with miss piggy? You no she ain’t all that I’m better” I laugh at her and shake my head and walk away. Making my way to my care I see Kenna talking to Megan.
“Hey beautiful”
She turns around with a smile she hugs me and kisses my cheek.
“Hi Ryder. How comes Ashley is giving me the evil eye?”
“ oh just her saying that I should be with her coz she better than you blah blah blah I just laughed at her and walked away coz she wrong. Even if she didn’t sleep with half the football team I still wouldn’t go there, I’ve been waiting for you to come back” I say with a smile and kiss her on the lips. She smiles back at me.
“ well she can think what she wants I won’t take her s**t and the sooner she knows the better. I gotta get home but see you tomorrow?”
“ yeah baby I’ll text you later ok? She nods and gets into her car. I wonder if she will ever the me drive it?
