The morning after.

Waking up feeling hot realizing that Ry is wrapped around me, I try and move but he just pulls me closer.

“ Ry I need the bathroom” he just mumbled in his sleep and rolled over. Thank god I really need to loo. After I’ve finished in the bathroom I got lay back in bed and think about the events of last night. “ hi Kenna how are you feeling this morning?” One of the police officers asked.

“ yeah I’m fine, still in shock that a girl could to that to another. Jealousy is a ugly thing.” I say shaking my head. They all nodded agreeing with me.

“ anyways we are here to tell you that we already have a judge on the case, it’s a female and when he heard about this case she was disgusted by it. She said with all the evidence that’s was collected and the video with the confession that there won’t be a trial and she will be giving the max sentence. So with that said Ashley will be spending most of life behind bars. The judge said that she will be in prison for at least 25-30 years.” I was shocked, I didn’t know what to say. I was happy and sad at the same time. I mean yeah she deserves what she got but at the same time she 18 and has just thrown her life away. I heard the police officers voice.

“She said this case was close to home and wanted to help punish Ashley the way she should be. And that daddy’s money wouldn’t even help.”

“ oh wow thank you for letting us know, do we need to do anything?” Ry asks as I’m still unable to speak.

“ no there’s nothing for now, but if there is we will let you know. Have a good rest of the day.” They say and Ryder walked them out.

“How you feeling baby girl?”

“ happy and sad, I mean I get that she needs to be punished for what she was gonna do but at the same time I can’t help and think that’s she’s just wasted her life, she only 18.”

“ I know baby but at least we won’t have to worry about her now, and worry that she could to this again and to someone else.” I Know he’s right and I’m happy that we won’t have to put up with her drama again.
