37 - A strange place

1740 Words

Ivy Goddess, I feel like I’ve been hit by a Mack truck! I groan while sitting up in bed. I look around the bedroom, wondering where I am. It’s been like this for the past few days. I wake up not knowing where I am. There is no one around, though the door knocks three times a day. I open it to find food and water waiting for me. I take it and close the door, which magically locks behind me. There are no windows, not even in the bathroom, so I get no fresh air. I can’t leave the room, and I wonder why I’m here. I feel like there’s a wall up in my mind. I can’t remember much of anything. I see flashes of scenes, but it’s like a jigsaw with missing pieces I can’t find. I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t scared. Where am I? How did I get here? Who am I? What’s my name? Do I have a family?
